@JonnyToTheCore It comes right out of the keytar itself because it's more like an old Casio or Yamaha keyboard rather than an actual synthesizer. It's almost more like a toy than an actual instrument. I got this one off eBay, and it was a hard get. If you try that route, it's likely you'll see some come and go before you actually win one.

i may have phrased that wrong, when you put a guitarist out on stage he owns the sound,, he can bend, not electronially with a rolly thing, but with his fingers and put physical passion into that instrument. Not too mention its a worse piano with less keys.

There's more than one type of keytar. The one he's using has a drastically reduced set of keys.. there are much better ones. A really good keytarist could probably pull off the same emotional effect as a guitarist could.

You can't really dance around and use a keyboard. Plus a keytar is a different instrument, actually. It's a midi device which is more versatile in some ways than a keyboard. To be honest this video is lame (sorry buddy)and anyone watching it would probably agree with you but look up some better keytarists and you may see what i mean. It's an underrated instrument.
