Anybody know about a hidden feature here? Or is this the current functionality only?
The only negative of this feature is that I believe it will ring all your phones when you want to switch phones. It would be nice to have a feature code (* + some other digit, etc.) to selective ring (or switch to) a specific phone so you don't disturb family or work, etc. with a ring to all phones.
This might be rare these days in the age of cell phones and high cell phone bills - but some people do use prepaid cell service (or not) and actually care about the cost of their cell use. With this feature, if you answered call on your cell, you could switch to home/work landline phone to avoid paying for unnecessary minutes when you're practically at home or work (not literally "mobile" or out and about). Or say you're on your way home, switch to landline when you get home to save minutes.
Just have it ring your other numbers simultaneously and there is no need. I couldn't get this working on my setup, but I wasn't using the google voice number provided either.
How about using it like a pager? Home or office use... if it is a call for someone else, just press star so they can pick it up. This is only the tip of the iceberg I believe.
Google You never failed to please us.

To get off your cellphone and use a better device, or vice versa- have a call you answered at home/office to take on the go with you.
Remember: just because Negative Nancy has no use for something doesn't make it useless.

easy, one person call you could be at home work etc... all the phones ring and you'll be able to answer one of em

That's true...
I didn't think of it that way but yeah.
And like if you have a Summer Home or a camp that has a phone there you could have them both together in one number.
