Your own saliva contains enough amylase to digest starches. Raw honey is a luxury item niche item with no proven health benefits. Compositionally it is the same as filtered (fructose, glucose etc) except it contains bee wings and other junk you don't need.
It is not really clear about the distinction being made between what is called Raw Honey and the Cream Honey which is supposedly a mixture of 1/10 "finely granulated honey" and 9/10 liquid honey, The rawa honey initial description indicates there are lots of particles in the mixture-is this supposed to be desireable? Isn't the liquid honey what we are told is less desireable? Nowhere in the presentation is the term "raw honey" mentioned in the three methods of how honey can be purchased.
The descriptionof creamhoney didint make sense to me. if its nine parts liquid how is raw? the process and origin is not explained . well maybe im being hard headed :) please someone helpI need for an assignment!
I use manuka UMF 20 on any type of skin problem/wound. Refined sugar on wounds under gauze works well also.
Lots of science on honey and refined sugar on wounds and skin healing within investigative Journals of Dermatology.
Raw sage honey is a favorite.
Commercial honey is trash. Everything destroyed, high fructose corn syrup added and the worst offense to nature..........bee farms feed bees high fructose corn syrup.
I purchased 18lbs of what was toted on line as unheated, unfiltered raw honey from an apiary in Michigan's Thumb area.
When I looked at the containers, the claim of it being RAW honey was not there, instead it simply stated it as being pure natural honey, the same description as appears on the "Little Bear" supermarket honey.
As for me, it'll be back to buying REALLY RAW honey in buckets from an honest source.
is it suppose to taste germy ? Because it taste that way.

Do you mix the top layer nuritious 'cap' throughly with the honey below before eating? Are they safe? Would it contains mould actually? LOL

Greek mountain honey is very good for you as well. I can't seem to find it in raw form though.
