I can't remember, in the other scenario, does Leon fight Berkin and Claire fight Mr. X? Does Leon get the rocket launcher in both scenarios? Also, is this the scenario in which Ada falls or gets stabbed? Wait, doesn't Claire at least run into Ada in Leon A. These multiple scenarios are a great idea, but it makes continuity an absolute nightmare. For example, apparently neither scenario in RE1 is officially cannon, and I have no idea at all how the REmake fits in with that.

@Takuexl1 1) The mutated Birkin is the main boss in scenario A for both characters. In scenario B (for both characters) Mr. X is the main boss after he falls into the pool of molten stuff. In scenario B for both characters, you get the rocket launcher and kill Mr. X before returning to the train to destroy the remains of Birkin. 2) Ada only appears in Leon's scenarios. 3) The scenarios in RE1 are completely separate and independent of one another based on which character you choose.

Funny how this turned into a gaming generation debate. Honestly, if you're gonna have this debate, throw out graphics and multiplayer . They're elementsthat represents just a part of it. Nowadays you can get away with a weak game so long as it looks good and has multiplayer. Still, I think storytelling in this generation is amazing when you look at games like the Uncharted and Mass Effect series. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what generation games come from so long as they're fun.
