However ANYONE can make themselves sound good in a recording studio so only when they get on stage do you know who is good and who isn't. In this instance I don't recall 1 performance from GnR in 1991 that was even average. If Duff and Matt weren't there christ knows how bad it would have been. Watch November Rain from this very gig and tell me it's good, I dare you.

Plus you said it yourself, about being their best gig to a point. Before the show was stopped, they played what? an hour, hour and a half. And yeah it was a good gig. So like I said, the crowd was at fault, IMO.
