Good take on TCM. Did you know that all the members of the Sawyer family in the original movie are based on one real person they just divided what he did into 4 different characters.
Cool, Leatherface the butchering and killing side, hitchhiker was the crazy grave robber, Drayton was the face presented..but how did Granpa fit in? Even with that said, I would rather watch the remake and prequel. In my opinion its more like real life killers, at least what I have read about. I have never found a killer thats acts as stupid as the first. The stupidest one I've ever seen may only be a little more nuts than Sheriff Hoyt in the remake.
