I have to say to those saying kerry is better than jeff I must say this. Both are excellent musicians and guitarist. Yet jeff has written the majority of slayers songs lyrically and musically. some of their best songs i.e angel of death, war esembled, seasons of the abyss etc. were qrittn by mr.hanneman.

@raginhardon Im glad Pantera never had a second guitarist though. Most metal bands need 2 guitars, but Pantera only needed Dimebag's fretwork and it just made it rawer. I never feel like the guitar work is too thin with Pantera's live recordings or studio ones, Dimebag did a fine fine job by himself.

Having said that, Kerry King is a good rhythm guitarist, but the guy can only play thrash metal and not much outside it, so songs like Hollow, Cemetary Gates he would be a little useless.
