  • wow, anyone who uses this video is wasting there time. everyone knows that dogs can only be trained when they drink a special kind of mineral water from the himalayas, which makes them smarter. i dont have a dog, but my uncle does, and he told me that all this stuff about using rewards/repitition is bs, all u have to do is give them the water and they'll do whatever you want, you can get it on ebay.

  • This is like school for DOGS. What dog wants to go to school. ALL dogs do is sleep, eat, and FART! Still, your dogs R so cute. ARF!!!

  • i want that dog

  • i have seen better then this

  • GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • OMG all of them are soooooooooooo freakin cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3

  • omg that helped so much thnks my puppy school!!!

  • I agree with the treat thing. You should never feed a dog like that when you are training them, or they will expect it all the time.

  • treats are GREAT. to teach dogs. u need to keep giving them those dam treats!! to hard wire the command!!! then afterwards try saying hte comman witout giving the dog treats!! the dog will actually THINK he/she will be getting a treat and wil ldo the command. repeat. and eventually they'll get it and do it witout the treat because the command is hard wired into them.

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING CUTE I CANT STAND IT

  • this teacher sux. She repeats the same command 300 times. not good for teaching

  • Dexter is the cutest little thing!

  • SOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • CUTE

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • aaawwww

  • CUTEST FREAKING PUPPY EVER

  • too many treats aren't good teach them to not always expect a treat unless very confused and yes I trained both my dogs and at a young age at that I just seem to have a knack for it. I can teach a new trick in under a month usually.

  • ooh my god !!!!!! too many treats ... this is not a puppy school ... this school must be cal .... fat dog ..... school .. or .. no treats no obedience school .. oh well i guess there is sou many people up there that doing this ..it is wrong .. dont teach your dog eat cookies ... i have two rotties .. i never give them treat during obedience training ... I do give them treats .. not for simple sit ...

  • @naodpoledni

Not really. I use this "technique" with my personal dogs and many dogs that I've worked with. The key is to use treats, but wean them off (usually after 3 or so lessons & the command is 100%).

I've used it with my BC, Heeler, Rottie & Mastiff.

A lot of positive trainers will just decrease the amount of food for the day when using treats. I sometimes use my dogs kibble as well. Another key to not having a fat dog is exercise. Not hard.

  • OMG!! the adorable pomeranian!!!

  • hey i tried that and it didnt work...:S... i had a cat-_-

  • why dont ypu teach( educate ) people sted of dogs !!!

  • Adorable dogs! Enjoyable video. Thank you!

  • soooo cute this Pomeranian pup!!!

  • good looking dog. Amazing that those dogs sat there on their benches

  • great video!

  • cool.

  • never use food to teach them simple obedience training; like sit, stay, and come.. it teaches them that obedience is a bargain. They need to sit because u have established yourself as alpha, otherwise, if there is other stimuli (like playing with another dog) they will not see your reward as being good enough.

  • @angustc Indeed.

  • @angustc I somewhat disagree, only because I have always implemented treats in training but if you do it right you can have a dog that is still just as rounded. You don't have to always give treats and it is highly suggested you don't but random goodies every once and a while doesn't hurt. My dog doesn't question it's role in the pack because I have given it a treat to do a trick before. She never gets a treat when we are not in training mode. Just applause, I've owned, raised and trained

  • @angustc dogs for over 10 years. Never had that issue and I don't think I ever will. There definitely is a think called excess though, so one should be cautious.

  • @angustc as someone who does a lot of dog training and works in the field of behaviour modification in people and always use "treats" to begin with, I completely disagree.

Learn how to properly fade out edible reinforcements and you'll find that teaching the dog HOW to learn is easier, faster, and way more efficient.

  • @Harleyfats Agree with you.

    Very cute dog too. :)

  • @angustc but then how do i train my dog without treats? cuz it looks kinda easier with treats.

  • Perfection!

  • Never use food to teach your dog, if one day without food the dog would listen to you

  • Never use food to teach your dog

  • The stay command is very useful when you have to pick off the shit that's clinging to your Pomeranian's ass.

    CATS RULE, DOGS DROOL!

  • u kidding dog`s are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better they can go outside and u can cuddle them, cats just walk are the house and either do nothing or claw ur feet

  • @minkipp2 Dogs are just glorified sycophants, and they have owners. Cats have staff.

  • awwe how cute! :)

  • this video is okay

  • so don't watch in then.

  • fake

  • @camtra1 whats so fake bout it??

  • @AMJH86 You must be slow in the head. Of course it's not all fake. The tree and grass and sky are real, but that's about it. The woman and dog are quite plainly computer animated.

  • @camtra1 blah blah blah, who cares

  • thats os cute

  • I must say that i wold never train my dog this way. I train dogs not seals at marine land lol

i use correction not force. and no way will i ever give a dog a treat for doing what i ask.

Good luck to you and your seals

  • the puppys are soooooooooooooo cute

  • this is bull shit she tells the dog to stay like 5 times.

    keep giving him treats.

If you would like to see a real Dog trainer. and get free tips

    Check out Tomjjj1

he trained my dog to stay with out treats. and i only tell the command 1 time.

  • @K9Dojo

There is nothing wrong with using treats as rewards as long as the dog does what is asked of it!! What is really unhealthy is when people use force to train and then give treats for no reason. Maybe you don't but lots of people do.

  • lol she gave tht puppy way too many treats...

  • ohh, my dog should go there

  • stay in dog school lol

  • you really shouldnt give them treats because then they will begin to only do it if you have treats... which is definitely not ideal

  • @33348347713 You're absolutely right and I'm glad someone said something. It's a form of bribbery and it will think it gets a treat every time it obeys. You wouldn't reward a kid with junk food everytime it follows your rules. Same thing. A simple pat on the head, stroke on the back, and verbal praise is sufficient. I have 20 years' experience and never had to fatten up dogs while training them.

  • @33348347713

That's false. treats are only used to TEACH a dog. Once the dog Learns*(not forced) the behavior he can preform the command quickly and confidently. For superior attention use toys and build drive. Check out some videos on k9 behavior. This "old school method" you talk about is out dated and causes MANY SEVERE behavioral issues. Treats work great.

  • o my goodness!!!!!! soooooooo CUTE !!! hehehe

  • brad (forgot his last name..pattison..something like that Life network) says treats are not good for dog training.

  • THE PUPPY IS SO CUTE!!!

  • too.... much....cute!!!!

  • Dexter is soooo cute!!! Is that a pomeranian teacup?

  • awwwww that's so cute

  • as far as I see... she's giving the dog treats treats and treats....

  • Using treats to train your dog is stupid. They dont do any work for YOU they just do it for the treat.

  • @589216001 no, your wrong, because when the dog sees the treat, it will do the command for you, and if you have the treat in the hand, the dog will want to come. and so, your wrong.

  • @starrystar33isawesom The point is what if you needed it to sit and stay near a busy street but you didnt have a treat handy? It wouldnt listen to you. I've seen so many dogs that get trained with treats and they dont listen to their owners when they rn't bribing them with treats its stupid.

  • this video help me a lot thank you so much... more video pls
