  • Jason, if I may, a couple things to enhance your training. First, bring your knee up to the focus mitts on your knee strikes, not the other way around. Secondly, when you do an elbow strike in the 4 or 5 zone, keep your striking hand up with your palm facing your target. This presents a better striking surface and will keep your elbows tight and effective. You should be able to tell you're doing it right because your striking hand will end up on top of the arm holding the mitt instead of under.

  • what's the song called?

  • push it to the limit. in my description on the right it always says the song name in my videos

  • Hello my friend, i love the video, great music too.

  • Jason-san, excellent workout! Its great to be creative and train effectively solo. I can relate to doing a lot of solo training at various times in my life. Even now with students/training partners, which I am so thankful for, I know I need to keep up with my solo training as well. Great job. An encouragement to all walking the warrior path. Thank you.

  • thanks. i learned this from ralph senseis private vids. and it was fun. i ordered bdu woodland digital camo pants and shirt and tshirt and some other suprises coming for future vids. stay tuned and thanks

  • Ralph sensei? Ralph Hall?

  • ralph severe. of kamiyama dojo. he is one of the best i feel to ever come from the bujinkan dojo. he is kamiyamashinobisha on youtube. and if you go to danbowentv my buddy dan did a epic interview called ralph severe philosophy part one, two, three and up to seven. great interview on a martial arts master.

  • Looks like a good cardio workout...music sounds like a throwback to the 80's...perhaps it is, dont know. Glad you arent using those mitts on your head to simulate a face-strike...lol. Good job!

  • Isn't the knee supposed to come up to the mitt, not the mitt to the knee?

btw- looks like you are in great shape.

  • Very neat I did not think of using the focus mits by myself to work on elbow strikes and knee strikes. 5 stars.Keep it up. You are right it is good for conditioning as well
