hey guys, i am planning to do my version of ipad and i want to buy the touch screen digitelizer but its rare in singapore... if i get it, i'll be one of the first to create ipad through either on a pentium 2 laptop i mod the case to look like ipad or i use the 7'' china laptop and change it into ipad,

Whats the Eee PC like? Do you need a wireless network to go online? And to Laptop Connect Cards work with Linux?

Well eee pc is pretty awesome in xp, its very quick and stable. I use mine on a wireless network but i mean you could use an ethernet cable too. But the modem port is blocked off... and I honestly have very little experience with linux, ive booted ubuntu on it once or twice but I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to linux... so i dont know

i think that the original (i think it's called Xandros or somethin) that's installed, would be beter for touch screen activity, but win/ubuntu would be very nice for the Eee, so is it at all possible to Dual Boot on the thing, given i have the 8 GB model? and if the lack of space is the only factor keeping me from Dual Booting, then would an external HDD work? (PM an answers plz!!!)

Idiot children, you cant play PC FPS with touch screen. You would need to constantly move your stylus/finger, the movement of the recticle would not synchronize with the stylus either.
