What bothers me, are people that say M.P. hasn't fought any black boxers. His HB O debut, was against South African champ Lehlo Ledwaba. Nobody thought that he'd win that 1. IMO it's 2 reasons.

Black US boxers dominated boxing until the early 90's. Now only 7 world titles out of 85 (5 in 17 divisions) belong to black US boxers.

The venom picked up dramatically after Mayweather refused to accept a fight with Pacquiao last year. Every boxing and sports pub were writing stories calling Floyd a coward, chicken, ducker etc.

Floyd is seen as the last great black US fighter...and Manny's seen as the guy who punked him. So there's a lot of resentment.

It was Mayweather sr and uncle who started all these accusations.
