There are lots of Poles who speak perfect German. Poles are often able to master the melody of foreign languages perfectly because the Polish language phonetics is similar to most languages. Besides in WW2 there were plenty of Polish spies who spoke German better than ordinary Germans because they could read Goete and Schiller and other German poets and writers to get the full command of German!!!

Polish belongs tothe most difficult languages in the world! Every foreigner who can speak Polish can tell you this. There is one very famous and likeable German in Poland called Steffen Moller, friend of Poles, who could tell you this, even though his Polish is really good. He came to Poland from Germany.
