Ontario Private Members Bill on government spending on bottled water - Press Conference

Public Water is tested every 4 to 6 hours in the Toronto region as opposed to water bottling facilities that are inspected on average once every 3 years. This would ensure not only more accountable government spending, but also encourage all citizens to make a healthier choice to drink tap water. This is a right that we abuse and do not sufficiently respect in Canada. Water is a human right and putting it bottles jeopardizes the access to that right.
