  • heh, i was born in the mid 90s, and to this very day, my mom and my friends still tell me i was born 2 decades late! 1980s FTW!! :D

  • can i mail you my xbox?

  • I'm thinking about buying an atari 2600...do you have any recommended games...great vid by the way, classic consoles seem to have a more lasting impact than today's consoles.

  • Wow, great video. Reminds me of the good old days. I have an Atari 2600 myself, and several games in their original boxes. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  • you were right about the 80's had the best fucking cartoons XD fucking thunder cats

  • This video brings up a short burst hate for my mother who found an atari 2600 at a yard sale still worked too, i was born in 1994 by the time i could remember we had NES and a Nintendo 64, she stuck the atari in cardboard box under our front porch it rained and ruined it, I miss that thing we only got around 5 years ago.

  • I agree with you, I was born in the wrong year. I should of been born in the 80's!! You forgot to mention the music from then, it was awesome! lol

  • and thank god you have the boxes. I mean, that just makes it a billion times better. Again, this is awesome.

  • @roany55 lol thanks. Yea, I'm lucky to have all this still. Need to find the time to make a video on my newer game collection and find those damn NES games.

  • Great stuff man...gotta love atari. Personally I'm a bigger fan of like SNES and such for oldie consoles but, this is awesome. Brings back memories :)

  • Wow, you still have the boxes!

Man, I can relate so much, I was also born in the 70's and grew up in the 80's. I didn't have an Atari 2600 as my father didn't want me playing games.

I visited a friend how had one, I didn't even knew about videogames, he showed me the manuals of his games and we played, I couldn't believe I could control the figures on the screen.

At last my father bought an Atari 800XL computer. Later a 1040ST. I have been a gamer ever since. Great times.

    Greetings from Chile.

  • i was born in 75 and holi f shit you got the original box and the games whith the boxes people dont understand its not the graphics it was the fun factor 80s best cartoons games ever dont ever sell it guru youll be crazy to do it do you have any of those cheap store games remember when they went crazy making all those crappy games dude i can talk about this for hours

  • @louthugrebirth I know what you're saying man. Atari gave birth to Nintendo and Sega and the industry today wouldn't exist without the simple yet fun graphics of Atari. I have so many games it's nuts. Good classics and crappy games as well. I will NEVER sell my Atari or any of the games. I was offered $200 one time for my original Star Wars game and refused. This stuff is classic. My friends come over, drink and battle with the Atari games more than with my Playstation. Atari rules!

  • Dude, the 80s ruled ! It's sad man i was born in 1982, wish i was born is the 70's though. I was too young to fully appreciate the 80s, but i do remember alot even though i was small and i wish we could go back and live in a permanent 80s.

  • Nice vid, totally agree, growing up in the 80's was the best.

I wish i had my original Atari System, i do have a few atari's but not my first one.

Will be checking out your new vid's so keep it rolling :)

  • @Geffersan Thanks man. It was indeed a golden and fun time to be a kid. I have a couple of videos on my channel with me and a friend playing some classic Atari games. Check them out when you can. Cheers

  • "Have you played Atari Today?"

    Rock on, Gotta love Atari

  • Atari gave birth to an entire industry. I miss those days back in the 80s

  • Dude, the original box is HUGE! You could get a foosball table in there! (Without the legs...)

  • I used to have a Colecovision with the Atari attachment. It was my cousin's, till she got an NES. I still have it, and it has survived three XBoxes, and two PS2s. I think that the older systems had a lot more care put into them than the new ones nowadays. I also have to agree that the 80's had the best shows ever, but the early 90's did as well.

  • @itachi1303 I agree - the early 90s did have good shows and cartoons too. Probably started to go down hill after 96 lol

  • Just a heads up to everyone - check out my Atari Flashback 2 battle videos I have posted. I battle a buddy on Aqua Adventure and Frog Pond.

  • Very nice, Atari rules. strangely I have no "original" system YET lol! But I can play original 2600 games on: Atari7800/Atari 2600 Jr./Coleco Exp Module 1/ Sears Video Arcade II/Coleco Gemini. Strange it turned out this way, I am sure I will get an actual 2600 at some point but not too much a priority at the moment lol. Great video, nice collection sir.

  • @MaximumRD Thanks - I treasure it and it will be buried with me

  • Atari 4 Life! :)
