Terran Odin Tutorial final product

Odin is the only worthwhile carrier in the game, purely because of looks. Its a shame carriers are such a pain in the rear to maintain. Find and outfit 30-50 fighter-craft only to lose a bunch to AI stupidity? No thanks!

@EmoSolus Get an M7M, load it with 5-10 really good marines. Then start putting satellites in the Terran sectors, wait for an Odin to spawn. Fly there with your M7M, get to "high ground" and abtou 25km from it, then Barrage x3 with Heavy Torpedoes, followed by 1xFlail ever 3rd second. When Odin reaches 2% shield, fire 2 Pods followed by 4-5 Flail, then 1 flail ever 3:rd sec to keep shields under 4%. If shields hits 5%, your marines dies. When marines clears 3:rd deck, jump your M7M out.

@EmoSolus Continued Reply : I would however not pick Odin. If any, go for the Tyr M2 ATF, that destroyer is THE most powerful M2 in the game and can incinerate any other ship in 1 Broadside (firing 8 loaded PSP*)

Also, remember this !. Save before engaging the ATF (STAY AT RANGE - If you engage near stations, then can turn hostile). And when you hear the marines cleared deck 3, Activate jumpdrive and save the game. Jump out BEFORE the marines takes over the ship, or it will be destroyed.

@EmoSolus Continued Reply : The reason for saving just before jumping out, is because you can reload, if the ship gets captured with no weapons. Just reload until your marines captured the ship with weaponry, you can easily tell by looking at the cargo. if it reads xxx / 8000 cargo, there are no guns. If it reads xxxx / 8000 Cargo, congratulations. This is totally random for each reload. * PSP = Point Singularity Projectors = Badass guns (Literally fires a black hole).

@Dreez76 Awesome thanks =D. I've been playing reunion piloting a nova vanguard and 4 falcons and a falcon vanguard as wingmen but I'm about to play TC now, any help in starting out? It took me awhile to make any amount of money on reunion... I don't play pirate though lol tend to hunt pirates instead... So any help would be awesome =D.

@Dreez76 Whats the best way to train your marines to 5 stars without getting half of them killed in action? I know I can train all skills in Military outposts except for fighting which can only be gained through actual combat.

@DK988 Go for Yaki TL's first. You are going to lose a few marines each time until they get a decent fighting level. When you buy Marines, try to only buy Marines with 2 or 3+ in Fighting, the rest you can train up. But only train up to 3-4 in non fighting skills until you get good at it, then you max out all skills.

The 2 first regions below Savage Spur is a great place for hunting Yaki TL's. You can also try to Yaki M2 but you might need at least Rank3 fighting.

after watching your video of how you got those shots.... it is pretty cool what a little music and editing can do to footage to make it seem like "something else" is going on than what is "actually" happening....you know? Those were cool techniques fiming techiniques that were used

The valhalla is found in the reunion - XTM mod

It's because the Valhalla isn't in the game.

That is, all the files to create it and make it work is in place, but they never put it in the game.

So, if you want one you have to use mods.
