Just so you know, neons are unibody cars, meaning they have a unitized frame, unlike trucks that have bodies that sit on a frame,the car (like all cars), gets its structural support from the design of the body. The roof is an integral part in the deign of the unibody and helps in crash enrgy distribution. Basically, cutting the roof like you did... that things gonna fold like paper if its ever in an accident. Theres no more support in the roof.

Instead of a removable hard top, might as well just add a sun roof... Cars that have removable hard tops from factory have way stronger areas in the body to compensate for the lack of roof support. Neons were not designed for removable a removable roof. as mentioned the roof is part of the support. You basically just weakend your cars frame....

well if hes smart he would get rid of that spoiler n then weld where he cut n primer n paint n all that but weld some good solid beams, prolly bout 4, right below where the roof would go back on to give it some strength back, its a fun idea but just not too stylish on a neon, i just give an A for the effort n doin somethin unique

hes gotta CAI, but its prolly just a RAI so the intake is sittin behind the motor so the hood scoop is aimed directly where the filter is, the neons arent a POS, i got 1 n had a SOHC n beat a V6 2006 taurus, V6 Sebring, wat makes a neon a POS? cuz my old SOHC neon went 191,000 original miles on the engine n tranny, i gave it to charity b4 anythin went out on me, now i gotta DOHC wit RAI n gonna make my own scoop, mustangs r POS, electrical problems, SRT-4 motor n 1st gen neon will beat it
