Thanks for these videos, it is always food to see Vincent in something new (to me anyway!) . I feel the need to go and watch 'Vacancy' again, that prep work certainly sounds familiar. Everytime I watch that I always smile when I see VDO so seriously 'learning' about method acting LOL.
Absolutely sounds like "Vacancy". As he was relating his story I just kept thinking... "I think I've seen this..." always thought the epi was a nod to D'Onofrio method acting, I just didn't realize it was a 'ripped from rhe headlines' kind of deal.
You're definitely right about the similarity to "Vacancy", BriarRose. These videos have been like watching a real documentary. I'd rate them all 5 stars if "you tube " hadn't changed its web site.
Vincent really put himself into that role, especially with the research. Dante's Inferno is a terrible read though, maybe something got lost in the translation (from Italian to English).

I agree about Vacancy, it's a remarkably similar story (I enjoyed reading The Inferno though, OBparamour).
Vincent may have been disgusted by the things that people do to others, but he managed to make me for one feel sorry for a serial killer!
