  • @BubbaBodecker Why would he never want to be seen again? That doesn't really make sense to me...

  • Agree with Capt Cooper, despite his bravery, the CG should not have sent him back to check the Edmund Fitzgerald despite the tragedy...possible loss of two ships not one.

  • I rember when she sank. Will we ever really know if she broke in half, or as Captain Cooper says, did she drive herself into the bottom? Man, that's no lake, it's a fresh water ocean!! May they all rest in peace, and I hope that the crew members deaths were quick and that they didn't suffer!!! It still doesn't help that we lost 29 men, but I don't want to see anyone suffer.

  • p.s there was no neglagence on behalf of the crew of the Fitzgerald!

  • God Bless Captain Bernie Cooper for going back out to look for the "BIG FITZ" as reluctant as he was, he was a great man just like the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald & god bless the Arthur Anderson as well. Two great captain's,crew and ships! they will always be legends to me.

  • Is Second Mate James A. Pratt among the crewmen pictured near the end of the clip?
