  • i got hacked. and now i got an E-mail saying that i have been trying to sell my account. it also says: "If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled."

    what do i do?

  • @anton10r Contact customer service any way possible. Web form is best, sometimes it's necessary to make a new, empty account and say "Hey, my other account got hacked, so I'm logging in here to tell you about it..." Give them full details and they'll know what to do.

  • Guys if your email also have been hacked then do this:

    Step 1: Create a new battle.net account.

    Step 2: Log in to it.

    Step 3: Go into the tap "Support".

    Step 4: A window will scroll down, not choose "Ask a question"

    Step 5. Choose that you have been hacked (or another thing if its that.)

    Step 6. Write everything, what happends, suspects etc.

    Step 7. Wait some hours for a blizzard employee to answer it (It might take 1 day.

    Step 8. Enjoy ur returned account. :)

  • @TehBigDK They will scan through some of their data, to investigate what happened. Maybe there went some time until you reported it, and it might take a while for blizzard to find the hacker :) not sure

    - But just wait if they say like that

  • @TehBigDK You have to report this right away, a hacker stole 11000g from me, and there went like a month before i reported and could not get them in return :(

  • @fasterfind I tried making a new account and contacting them after my email and password were changed but they said they can't discuss the problem with me because I am not contacting them with the registered email address to the account I am trying to recover. now what?

  • @TeamBambooShoot The video discription contains the answer (make a new account, then talk to customer service with a full explanation about everything. They will handle the problem.)

  • Hey please respond ASAP. I need to recover my account, i forgot the password. When I click the i have forgotten my password thing, it asks for the email, which i know and my first name and last name. I tried everything for the names and none worked. I'm wondering if you know what i could do?

  • Ok about a week ago my world of warcraft account was hacked, it said my password was not correct, so i changed my password and tryd to log in, it said my account has been temorarily disabled, so they send me a e-mail telling me how to fix this step by step, and i am stuck on step 2 where i have to fill out a page that tells them im the real user, its called a battle.net terms of use form, but i cant fill it out because it wont let me on that page. i dont know what to do, PLZ HELP ME!!!!

    If you can't access your original account, you can register a new account. You don't need CD keys for it. That new account will allow you a channel to reach customer service to get the help you need and fill out any forms or take any action which is necessary.

    Good luck with your recovery. Don't give up. You have ID, anybody else doesn't. That means you win. You will get it back.

  • @LITTLEZ569 You can't completely log in to the old account to provide required information. With a new account, you will not have that problem. Explain to customer service, they will understand. This happens all of the time.

    I dont know how to do any of this as i am only 13 and dont know much about this, i feel like i trust u and if it is ok with u i want to give u my username and my password and maybe u can do this for me, i only have 1 lvl 55 druid and 1 lvl 56 death knight so i dont have much to loose. if u send a e-mail to my e-mail (worldofwarcraft569@gmail.com) saying you will do this for me i will send my password/username to you. thx for the help

  • What if the hacker KNOWS my secret question.. my account has been hacked and they keep changing email.. and i cant use webform to attach id etc cuz it requires login.. <-- WTF??

  • @jPaulsson Sounds like Blizzard had an oversight in their process. Call them on the phone and ask them about this. When you get an answer, please post here. I want to know what to tell others in the same situation.

  • @fasterfind I've got my account back now. I made a new battle.net account andsent them a mail from that instead with a pic of my driving license and wotlk/cataclysm authentication keys. They moved my wow account to the new battle.net :) When i logged in my lvl 85 druid was gone :( The hacker had moved it to his own account. I made a ticket and the GM refused to give it back. I made a new ticket and whined like a little kid dropping his icecream and i got my stolen guild + character back lol

  • @TheRandomGuyNextDoor That's a challenging situation, however the email address on the account should be the same. If you can remember the security question answer, then you can just ask for a password reset and that'll be sent by email. Try calling up Blizzard on the phone and requesting a PW reset.

  • @sonicdaguy That's ok. They can use other information to verify you and provide account recovery or password reset services. Start by giving Blizzard a call.

  • Umm i changed my password but i forgot my yahoo account to get the password for wow is there any other way i tryed everything

  • Whats the number to phone? I am so confused, I got keylogged and need to talk to a blizzard person on the phone... When I send emails I just get botted emails back that ive already had.. and at the moment i cant logg on again.

  • @wickedbadb I used to have their number listed at rpgreseller, it might still be there. I gotta get the server running again first. Try asking around in a few forums.
