I played pool with a guy from Turkey last night. Their billiards are different from what you find here in the states. You are basically going after two of your opponents balls. It's all about the English on the cue. If you can't spin the ball to do curved shots, etc you are SOL.

In order to complete a legal count, the one cushion player must cause the cue ball to hit one cushion after it hits the first object ball and before it hits the second object ball.

They only play it in France now and the World Billiards only has the three balls the same but has pockets.
