I can't even imagine having the vocal talent or stage talent at such a young age. I just wish I could sing! Way to go Billy. In my opinion, there is one other singer that is equal to Billy's rendition of this song,His name is John Berry, no other singers have given me goosebumps when performing O Holy Night. But what is truly amazing is the age of Billy singing this song so perfectly, and with so much power in his young voice.

I have heard just about every preformer that sing's this Christmas song and by far Billy Gilman is the "best".I hope now that he is 20 yrs.old and prefers Country & Western music songs, that he continues to still sing some of the older tunes, as a variety, and what a lot of older fans prefer. Don't stop at just the Western Songs. He has a great voice range and should appear more on TV.I would like him to provide a current update of this same song, with his new adult voice.

That was a fantastic performance, he's a precious young boy, and I didn't hear a flat note in the whole song. I'm a choir director and would undoubtedly notice if he were significantly flat at any point. Not only is is singing great, but also his expression and emotion are nearly unparalleled by boys of his age. This will certainly go into my playlist.

Well no I didn't mean it like that, I just meant that he probably over worked his vocal chords. From live performances I've heard him sing a few notes that to me sound painful to him. I think he later had a problem with it, bleeding vocal chords? And was advised not to sing or even speak so they could properly heal.

He's not flat listen to the other versions on youtube, he sings it perfectly. I think its just the recording of this one, I mean its pretty old and most likely warped. The kid took singing lessons from age 8, I cant imagine he'd be flat.
