The truth has to be told. Segways are dangerous....very dangerous.

I recently hit an unexpected bump on a quiet country lane, was thrown off, and broke my arm.

I have been thrown half a dozen times from my segway without daring it to.

And worst of all, they are a mean beast that keep on going, impossible to control.

On the other hand they are the perfect solution to my need for a vehicle that gets me to work and costs virtually nothing to run.

Segways are very dangerous? That's like saying guns kill people. No, people kill people with guns. A segway in the hands of someone who has no idea what they are doing is bad thing. It sounds like from your broken arm that you have NO idea what you're doing. I think you need to either learn how to ride or sell you Seg to someone who does but please don't run around telling people that Segways are dangerous. You're dangerous.
