I would think his age is probably due to his naivety about adults and whatnot. As a kid, I guess he assumes eighteen equals a full grown up. The biggest hint to this would be the kinds of groceries and whatnot. Lastly, it's a dream, and dreams are usually illogical. Besides, it's a kid's programme, I doubt they'd catch that little detail or care. And, on that note, why are we analyzing a kid's programme anyway?
