@dasammyb69 Don't liten to K9girls stupid answer. Get 2 budgies because one alone is always sad. They are swarm birds and NEED others around them to be happy. And a Mirror can make them sick, because they always vomit their feed and their goiter can ignite from that.

@xXAngelYunaXx I'd trained 8 budgies and I've found the difference is negligible. As long as they have daily interaction they are fine. If you're training a budgie to speak, then you should get one budgie, and one budgie only.

But in response to dasammyb69, K9girl29 is correct; however, just refrain from mirrors unless you're playing with them directly.

@michwng No they are not fine. They need that interaction the whole day. And you can't be ALWAYS there for them, you can't replace a budgie for them. Because if you would see them together and see what they do with each other you would know, that you NEVER can replace them a friend. I hear those arguments from so many people and everyone that knows a LITTLE bit about them, can say you're wrong.

@Qlsh How does it get dirty in the cage?? If you clean the cage, and have a good sized cage, (my cage for them is for medium sized parrots) then her tail feathers shouldn't get dirty! If you clip their tail feathers, it makes them have a harder time landing and flying! Sheesh
