@JasonCollago309 They don't know WHICH one it is, but they know what it could be....otherwise they'd waste thousands of dollars buying ingredients that may or may not be needed
@MultiSkittles7 Batali had a falling out w/ food network. In 2007, they stopped production of his main cooking show which probably has a lot to do with it. In response, he did a cooking show @2007-08 on PBS about Spain w/ Gweneth Paltrow. The exact reasons are unknown.
As much as the state of Israel treats the Palestinians like crap and does some deplorable things, the territories overlap and they share a common heritage and history. Because the lands of Palestine and Israel are essentially synonymous (depending on the time period obviously), the fact that an olive oil is Israeli vs Palestinian is totally arbitrary. Tabbouleh isn't technically "Israeli" either.
@m1980ification Your comment here has nothing to do with cooking. Moreover, as with everything in life, there are multiple sides to the this story. I applaud your invitation to learn, but one must do so with the understanding that there is a country called Israel with a right to exist where it is.
the chefs have a list of ingredients for which one would be the secret ingredient on battle day. But they say that 'cuz they do the opening scenes a couple times during the filimg, it's easy for them to figure out what ingredient they'll be facing. :)
@tikiman098 Both sides get a list of potential secret ingredients before the show. Then they give the producers a list of ingredients they would like for each secret ingredient.
mrchan2048...I have a stupid question for you. If I get fat because I'm salivating by watching all of your ICA videos; therefore, I tend to over-eat...can I sue you? :)
Hi Mchan, was wondering, had there ever been a kind of "Behind the scenes" of Iron Chef episode? I've always been curious and would love to see one of there is. Thanks for the upload!

I'm sorry but that intro just upsets me. This show is entertaining, but it's such a shitty re-make of the original.

The sissy judge that was complaining about the seeds obviously never had passion fruit in his life.
Too bad for him, I love passion fruit in all of its variations.
