  • were mot confused this header sucks as long with the other miss steps taken in these clips

  • Both make good points.

  • Accept and love all for who they are inside. BORN THIS WAY. Gay, transgender, or straight, black or white. Just allow each person to be who they are! !

  • everyone i know has suicidal thoughts at some point, not just homosexuals or ppl who get bully. stop using this excuse for homosexuality and ppl who get bully only.

  • Hay Dr. Olson! I want to be a Megalosaurus, can your gene therapy do that for me?

  • You docs also give hormones to teens as soon as they threaten suicide, so much for carefully screening who is really trans and who has been converted eh? Porn is converting many of the youth into behaviours they would not imagine on their own, those who had NO desire to be a girl in their childhood years, until they got enticed by the porn. There many fakes on the rise. They end up changing and they are still unhappy without a way to go back. What do we do with this segement on the rise?

  • @Faith9120 Porn? You keep using that word, but I don't think it means what you think it means.

  • I want to meet the child they're talking about.. was she on the show?

  • Shut down HAARP and we will see far less environmental catastrophes. Remove Bisphenol A out of our foods and we will see far less people confused about their sexuality. watch?v=N3_cYZKksvI

  • @kueef

Take care of yu'r Own Life you be Happyer!

  • BABY I WAS BORN THIS WAYYYYYY

  • ok fine i wanna become a dog!

  • People have to realise too, the homophobic (&transphobic) ideas of the members of the family and the society around them delays when this is looked at seriously. I grew up in a smaller town, and even though I had medically educated parents, it wasn't looked at 'medically' when I crossdressed at age 4 (and continously afterward). I was 'caught' again as a teenager, but was sent to counselling alone. I didn't transition until I was 37... I envy the youth dealing with this today.

  • If you wait until after puberty to begin hormones then you wind up with more characteristics of the gender that you do not identify with. If you begin hormones before puberty, then you will gain more of the characteristics of the gender you do identify with and less of the ones you are trying to get away from. I wish the information and resources had been there when I was younger and that I could have started hormones at an early age. I knew as young as 2 years old. You just know.

  • @Genderellaboutique thats true btu some peopel find out later on and arent sure if they r..they have to find themselves u kno?

  • I am really confused about this, can someone please explain to me

how does liking pink and barbie dolls make you any less of a boy? Isn't the main crisis here that of gender ROLE confusion, particularly with the gender stereotypes that are a societal construct, not a biological one? I mean, if there is no physical evidence that the child has a feminine brain, then how can he think he is one? Furthermore, how can you expect a 2 year old to understand what dgender identity is???

  • @rahemah13 I knew at 2 years old that I should have been born a girl. Also, there are studies that prove that transgendered people do have aspects of the brain that match with the gender that they identify with. Some people are born with both sexes, so if they can be born with both sexes, then how is it impossible that people can be born the wrong sex?

  • @rahemah13 I agree that it's difficult to know whether this is an issue dealing with gender roles or gender identity, but speaking as someone with transgender friends, I will tell you that it's more likely the latter. I find our conditioned gender roles to be absolutely ridiculous and restrictive (especially when people refer to them saying that men should be men and women should be women), but that doesn't seem to be where the problem lies. Either way, their struggle is legitimate.

  • @rahemah13

    1) a boy liking pink or a barbie doll is not the problem; the problem is when the boy likes those things EXCLUSIVLY. That tells you he is identifying himself with the opposite gender.

    2) No child is supposed to understand what gender-identity is; and that's the whole point. To a certain extend, identifying the right gender is something that every child has to learn and discover for themseleves; but the many factors sorrounding the boy's life can be an obstacle to that process.

  • @slicingwater, a person being born transgendered or gay is not wrong, as you put it. it is a natural part of human development and diversity. You don't need a PHD to figure that out, all you need is a brain cell!

  • I cant wait until I can raise Intelligent, responsible, respectful kids. At school, it gets on my nerves how people can be so rude to people who are different, specifically gay people. I know this is a bit off the subject of the video, but these parents are really disappointing to watch. If I know that I have a kid who feels like their in the wrong body, I'll support them. All I'd want for my kids is for them to live a happy life. I want them to feel confident in who they are & have self-esteem.

  • The problem with waiting for puberty to pass before acting, is that it makes the transitioning process that much more difficult. The effects of puberty on the person appearance cant be reversed so effetively so its better to act before hormones have a chance to permanetly damage the transgenders body. This way thye will be more passable, will require less surgeries and will be far less emotionally distressed

  • everyone is different just like we all have different kinds of skin color or hair or eyes. its the same for gays lesbian and trangender people. they are different but not a bad different. there will be a day when people will accept it just like people accepted the fact that there are different colored people in the world did you know that racism came from the christian bible? look it up in american history. people are afraid of different!!!!!!! get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think that children so young should be given hormone blockers when they come to that age so that they don't go through the devastating effects of puberty yet, then by the age of 15-16 they will be able to make a choice.

  • I ust to dress like a boy when I was little, I cut my hair really short so people would think I was a boy, when my mom talked about me I wanted her to call me a boy. But I was little, it was a faze, I'm not saying this happends to everyone, but I think a child can make the decistion to change their sex at such a young age. I am now 18, I love boys, I where girl clothing, I have a bf, I love make up, and I have long blond hair. For me it was just a faze, so you need to give the child time.

  • though it's better to wait until puberty,to be honest i think it's much better for someone who is trans to start with the transition as soon as possible.

maybe kids should not start right away with hormones but with hormone blockers, cuz when the body goes through puberty then that's it...specially for ftm's(yes by that i mean problems with breasts).

you have no idea what it is for a trans guy/girl to go through puberty...for every kid it's a horror show, but for trans kids it's hell.

  • testosterone does to the body- i.e. enlarged bone structure, muscle structure, irreversible masculine traits that prevent that person from passing as a normal female in life and therefore causes quite a bit of distress even post- transition. This isn't such a big deal in FTMs due to the fact that we are all initially female so we are born with a higher rate of estrogens in our bodies but biological males have a much higher course of testosterone in their bodies at puberty.

  • Aside from suicidality in children, if a child is relentless about his/her gender identity being cross-gender from their biological sex, it is imperative that they at least take ANTI-sex hormone therapy, anti-androgens in MTFs and anti-estrogens in FTMs before or at the onset of puberty to allow the child to develop physically the first time as their correct sex. If you wait until after puberty, especially in the case of MTFs you encounter much higher statistics of BDD due to the "damage" that

  • I wonder how many parents waited til after puberty to help their child....and their child committed suicide?

  • @jfreckles824 exactly. she says she doesn't want to do anything permanent before they completely go through puberty, like that is any better.

  • If you are trans, the wrong puberty, (i.e. one without treatment) IS a life-altering decision.

  • its sad that the kids have problems but its very SICK to have the parents and people actually let them and encourage the kids to go on and be the opposite sex. these are young kids that are still growing why would u encourage this into there lives. instead of trying to help them become the right gender. if u want to let them do what they want and choose there gender then let them do what they want in everything else then like running rapid and not listen to anyone its basiclly the same thing.

  • @clutchman100 You have no idea what you're talking about. I have yet to hear about a parent who ENCOURAGES. In fact, most parents (if not practically every) don't want their kids to transition. Often they dó desperately try to ''help'' the kid to become the ''right'' gender.

However this doesn't work, it only makes the child depressed, sometimes even suicidal. Fortunately many parents care about their child and eventually accept and support him/her for whoever she or he is.

  • @StlyDutch ok first of all i do know what im talkin about. what i ment by encouarage is not literaly saying o yea be a girl or boy. i ment that they are turning down help. they accept it instead of putting them in theropy and trying to get them help.but they go to far by putting them in dresses and calling them the opposite gender like he or she. u see the child has a problem try to get them help dont say o well its there choice then. so thats what i mean by what i said

  • @clutchman100 It's nothing like letting them do whatever they want. They're simply born in the wrong body. Due to hormones in the uterus their bodies developed into the wrong gender. The only descent thing to do is to let your child be the REAL gender.

If a men gets in a car accident and somehow ends up losing his genitals, would he become a woman? Of course not, because gender is something inside your brain.

  • @clutchman100 Assuming you're a guy, would you become a girl if we make you play with dolls, wear dresses, put on make-up etc etc? Would you become a girl if we chopped off your genitals and made it into a vagina? NO. You'd probably want your penis back more than anything in the world.

It's EXACTLY the same for these kids, except that transgenders don't need surgery to be born into the wrong gender, hormones do that ''for'' them. Instead they need surgery to fix it.

  • I think that a wait should happen, and that wait is between ages 1-13, once 13-16 rolls around, start hormones because when you begin puberty it does often ruin what a beautiful young child might have a chance at.

  • My sympathy goes to those who have this disorder...but consider this...do you think people in poor countries have time to give a fuck or ever even consider that they might not be male or female? It's a byproduct of having too much free time. You spend all day trying to survive, this shit doesn't happen to people.

  • @edroivas Kids in poor countries DO have this "disorder." I've read many of these cases. Your opinion has no merit.

  • We must talk about this with out shame.Love this Child Love all Children it`s a day by day life with children.

  • @anonymous915 The behaviour indicates there's a problem, one typical of the 'condition' Gender Dysphoria. Just as you can't change the behaviour of someone who doesn't want to learn something new, you can't change someone else's internal feelings of gender expression. At age 5, many transpeople reject typical behaviour expected of them and are drawn to activities common to the opposite gender.

Now, can we change your behaviour to someone who'll research the topic before they reply?

  • @dawnabrendan There's a vast difference between one's choice of toys and wanting a sex change. Women do as well as men in farming and construction jobs; one does not need a sex change simply because one rejects the normal "role" of a given gender. And a 5 year old doesn't know what they want; they're just a kid.

  • @anonymous915 no, a kid that age (like I was) doesn't know you can 'change sex', but it is indicative of what their head tells them is natural for them. A female farmer chooses to farm not because of her gender identity, but by her interest in behaving unlike what typical women do. As a 5 yr old, many a gender dysphoric male just wants to do what they feel natural for them. They might find out later that's because are larger issues involved. Male kids who identify as male likely don't dress uo.

  • @dawnabrendan "no, a kid that age (like I was) doesn't know you can 'change sex'"

That's not what I mean. I'm saying a kid doesn't know what they want period.

  • @anonymous915 apparently, these kids DO know they want... to do things commonly associated with the opposite sex... clothing isn't the whole picture... it's indicative of how they feel (obviously you're still obsessed with the topic, but you haven't decided to read the webpages I recommended.) One has to wonder why you are so emotional about this...

  • @anonymous915 apparently, these kids DO know they want... to do things commonly associated with the opposite sex... clothing isn't the whole picture... it's indicative of how they feel and behave - (obviously you're still obsessed with the topic, but you haven't decided to read the webpages I recommended.) One has to wonder why you are so emotional about this...

  • @dawnabrendan And you don't seem to understand the mind of a 5 year old which also desires as much sugar as they can eat, stay up as late as they'd like, do whatever they please. I suppose we should give them everything they want? 5-year old kids do not know what they want, let alone what they need, or what is appropriate for them.

  • @anonymous915 your passion continually arguing about this only shows YOU have some unresolved issues here

  • @switcherxx Just like others who won't argue facts, you stoop to personal attacks. This has nothing to do with any "unresolved issues" - I don't have any. Perhaps you are "projecting", lol.

  • @anonymous915 If you were right, the medical community wouldn't allow a system to exist where there are doctors that do this kind of surgery as a central part of their practise. If you were right, hospitals wouldn't allow it, insurance companies wouldn't allow it, governments wouldn't allow it... go back and fight the gay community... maybe their rights started this whole thing.

  • @switcherxx Sure they would - they're in the business of making money.

  • @anonymous915 The don't continue to make money by doing surgeries that are destructive to people, ones that other doctors wouldn't recommend. This isn't an aspiration of what you want to be, it's a process that takes years of personal exploration. It's certainly more dramatic than coming out that you're gay and not straight (as people would before have believed) but it's very similar.

People who go through this have few if any sexual partners because of the stigma, but live the life they want

  • @anonymous915 a kid might know he wants to play with dolls or play with trucks... if that behaviour is consistant in other stereotypical activities, maybe that might indicate which direction they feel natural expressing. Keep fighting, or educate yourself, you're not going to stop this phenomenon.

  • @switcherxx And besides, we were talking about 5 year olds

  • @anonymous915 yes, and a five year old who wants to be a fireman or doctor never does, right?

  • @brendandawna Now you're comparing apples and oranges, but yes it happens - rarely - kids usually want to be a half a dozen things before settling on an one career.

  • From Wikipedia: "Historically, the term hermaphrodite has also been used to describe ambiguous genitalia and gonadal mosaicism in individuals of gonochoristic species, especially human beings. The word hermaphrodite entered the English lexicon in the 15th century, derived from the Greek Hermaphroditos.[2] Recently, the word "intersex" has come into preferred usage for humans, since the word "hermaphrodite" is considered to be misleading and stigmatizing.[3]" You can read up on it, or go away.

  • I have the feeling Dr. Phil 'just doesn't get it'...

  • @nofreedom4racists I think you hit the nail on the head. Parents also aren't in charge any more; the kids are in control. TV and MSM have forced fed this to the kids and their parents and they've been deceived. They have been brainwashed about the issue when it could easily be rectified by checking the "plumbing".

  • 'Fantasy' is quite easily reality. Having certain genitals doesn't re-enforce gender norms, or gender behaviour. This isn't a 'rare' case.... gender identity disorder is so common, some surgeons are working solely on people who are getting this 'corrective surgery'

  • @switcherxx It's not a "disorder" - it's a reinforced perversion. What child doesn't want to be the opposite sex at some point? A check of the "plumbing" (and bodily functions as one gets older) should prevent any confusion - it's generally self-correcting.

  • @anonymous915 because this condition exists proves (in many many cases) it's not 'self correcting'... any more than making idiotic statements is 'self correcting.

  • @switcherx - it's not a "condition" - kids are too young to make these kinds of decisions based on what they FEEL at the time. Again, what kid hasn't wished they were the opposite sex at some point?

  • @switcherx - the only ones that should be "confused" about their gender are hermaphrodites.

  • @anonymous915 interesting concept., but if a hermaphrodite can have a gender identity opposite of what they'd been raised as, or what they would primarily look like or be viewed as, why would that be different? Your premise everyone automatically accepts their gender role is way off... if this didn't affect thousands of people, they wouldn't have doctors specialising in this condition search camh.net/Care_Treatment/Program_Descriptions/Mental_Health_Programs/Gender_Identity_Clinic/

  • @switcherx Do you even know what a hermaphrodite is? Confusion is to be expected when you have both sets of plumbing.

If "gender confusion" is a "condition" for a normally endowed person then there should be pathological and biological evidence for it. If there is no abnormal physical problem or hormonal abnormality, then there is no "condition".

  • @anonymous915 or your enlightenment, I've been consulting with doctors and counsellors (being informed) about gender identity issues for over seventeen years, not to mention the information available online. You unfortunately are arguing furiously about something you may not know about. Try read a bit; annelawrence, com Maybe you are in denial about something

Truth also is, you can't easily check inside the brain to see the Hypothalamus.

  • @switcherx Truth is, you can actually measure hormonal activity. The hypothalamus also controls hunger and thirst. Perhaps we should also allow kids to eat as much as they'd like because they "feel" like it. It is you who are in denial.

  • 'Fantasy' is quite easily reality. Having certain genitals doesn't re-enforce gender norms, or gender behaviour. This isn't a 'rare' case.... gender identity disorder is so common, some surgeons are working solely on people who are getting this 'corrective surgery

  • @nofreedom4racists Are you kidding me?! I know TONS of gay people, and I mean a lot, I'm involved in the arts, it's hard not to know a lot of gay people. Most of the people who are gay, were never raised around people who were gay. Never. My Dad's cousin is gay, he was never around gay people. My Mom's sister is Bisexual, she was never around gay people either. My best friend's Tony, Nick, Ben, David, ect, all grew up around no gay people. See a trend going on with this?

  • I am transgendered myself...but I do agree with endocrinologist Dr. Cwynar. The child should be followed-up during adolescence and then wait and see. Communicating everything that's happening to the doctor obviously makes for a better choice. I myself remember wanting to be a girl for all my life except now, after having been on female hormones for a year I went off them because I seriously began doubting. I'm not saying that I'm suddenly not a transsexual anymore, just that it is an extremely

  • @nofreedom4racists I didn't grow up in around transgendered people, have infact never met one and didn't even know the word untill i was 14. So, with your theory, explain why am i transgender? With the gay issue, theres evidence that its nature not nuture-and to do with the testosterone a baby recieves when in the womb. Theres no actual evidence supporting your opinion. And if kids became gay by growing up around gay people, why is homosexuality spread evenly throughout all groups of people?

  • I know a kid like this. His parents are conservative Christians and they discourage it. His dad makes him do "guy," things like sports, jeans/tee shirts, working with power tools, drag racing, etc. It hasn't changed him yet. He's still feminine as hell. Friends and family constantly ridicule him by calling him gay, a wussy, pussy, etc. I disagree with their parenting style, but hey what can you do?

  • Okay stop the bullshit. To be frankly honest there is something wrong with this kid. She is a he enough said. Its delusional and stupid. It's like ignoring the fact you are going to die. Its not pleasant but it is true and it will happen. This idiotic indulgence must stop.

  • @slicingwater No one denies this child was born with a male body. Whats wrong with this kid is that they have a female brain in that male body. There are basic neurological differences between male brains and female brains. Regardless of what treatment you believe is appropriate, this is not a delusion.

  • @slicingwater OK. To be frankly honest there is something wrong with this comment.

Ok kids, close your eyes and repeat after me:

Who you are is determined by the colour of your skin

People only fall in love with someone of the opposite sex

God is only as complex as our tiny brains can handle and

You are the person your family says you are.

    You're wrong, enough said.

  • @Heather1415 Wow thats just like the stupid comparison creationist use to explain their position. If you see a watch on the Beach then their must be a designer.

  • @slicingwater What does that have to do with transsexuals or this video? Having said that, I dont care about religion in general but the watch did not start as a single celled pile of DNA and evolve over millions of years to become the Rolex we know today.

  • For a Transsexual child, forcing them to go through puberty without blocking their hormones it cruel torture. You are allowing their bone structure to be irreversibly changed making them look like the opposite gender for the rest of their life. How would you like to be a woman that always gets called sir because you have huge hands, broad shoulders, and no hips? That is the cruel reality I will suffer every day of my life.

  • This mother is strong, courageous and right. I can not change the fact that my brain is female, even though my body was born male. I only wish every parent could love there trans child enough to see them for WHO they are, not just WHAT they are. Denying them their own true identity does immeasurable damage, and often ends in suicide.

If you think you can change me, or any other transsexual with hockey lessons and a strong father figure, you are the one that needs to change.

  • @jocandel3 hormones not only affect hysical features, but they also affect brin chemicals too as fact as how one acts or feels. if that is your true gender identity, then one shouldnt need to hormone therapy to achieve it

  • I agree with you only when it comes to the very small percentage of ppl who are born as hermaphrodites, with both male and female genatalia. It is inherently wrong to define "who you are" based on who are what a person is attracted to or who or what a person unconsciously or consciously chooses to feel attracted to or who or what a person wants to have sex with..

  • If they're born that way, then why would they need hormone therapy...

  • @funk7000 if people are born that way why do they need eyeglasses or braces?

  • I an't understand why the mother feels like her son has died and been replaced with a girl who is a completely different person.

Surely if the kid knew she was a girl from a young age, she would act the same then as now. it's just now, she wears appropriate clothing, nothing has changed in the personality or character of her daughter.

  • and you think getting a tattoo at a young age is a bad idea because you might later regret it? What if you change your sex at a young age and later regret it...

"gender is not whats between the legs"? bullshit

  • sex is what is between the legs, not gender. gender is what you feel, sex is not.

  • Agree to disagree. A man can't become a woman and a woman can't become a man. Scientific fact. Let the negs begin.

  • i don't want to argue, who the hell am i kidding, i love to argue, but a sex change is possible. and that way a man can become a woman and vice versa. of course this doesn't mean that they weren't a man or woman before the operation, it just means they look like one.

  • I never said a sex change isn't possible, but even if a guy has a sex change, they are still a male. Just cause you look like a female doesn't make you one.

  • they aren't still male if they feel female inside and they know they should be female.

i know, i've been saying it's how you feel inside, not what you look like on the outside. i've been saying that from the start :/

  • they're all full of shit. The fact is: nobody knows anything about the human condition.

  • If I had a kid, I would let them dress/act as whichever sex they chose. But I would wait until after puberty, however, to make sure they wanted to make this choice

  • @Th3MartianCat The effects of testosterone are difficult to reverse for MtF's

  • @Th3MartianCat If you wait until after puberty, they will look the gender they feel they're not, forever. These children usually know very well what they want. And adult transgendered people will usually tell you that they knew what they were from a very early age. So, not a very good idea.

  • Indeed, I don't understand why people are obsessing over this

  • its not quite that simple

  • it's truly not that simple. i can tell you that first hand.

  • THERE IS A FIX BUT THERES NO CURE

  • i plan on getting hormones.. i have friends who do hormones.. aand they definitly improve lives

  • Instead of educating them yourself, you people love to just say "You need to educate yourself". What parts am I off about, I'm curious if you all are just insecur or actually have a logical reason for supporting the act of thinking visual change changes anything. Excuse me for thinking that people should be happy the way they where born; especially if the only problem they see is that they THINK they should look like another sex.

  • @clipsryan Most people who went through these treatments are more happy about themselves.

I am born in a male body, but I'm a woman on the inside. For me acting like a woman makes me feel good about myself and makes me feel more like myself. If I would start acting like a man, then I would feel like I'm living a lie. Like I'm not really being who I am. So going through a sex change would really make me feel like who I really am and be happy. I hope you understand a bit now how we feel.

  • Most women are happy squeezing their feet in pointless heels and putting weaves in their hair. Most people aren't happy being themselvs aswell as not fitting into generalizations.

What's being a woman on the inside mean? The ONLY thing making you a man or woman, is between your legs, after that you are based on your personality and only should be in the first place.

  • ...i don't know whether i'm trans or not...i know when i was little i always dressed as a boy and it made me happy when people would mistake me for one. when i hit puberty i tried to be feminine as a girl should be...but there's always this nagging. i know from the 2D4D ratio that i was exposed to alot of testosterone in the womb and because of that i have androgynous features and unusual muscle growth. i'm almost 16 now...and i wish i knew how to tell if i'm really transgender or not. any help?

  • To all you ignorant clowns who are dissing these people. You are disgusting, ignorant and dare I say it, just BAD.

Consider yourselves lucky that you have had no such problems in your lives. Do you idiots know all about how the brain chemistry works? Do you know all about biology and hormones? No I didn't think so.You are a shower of unsympathetic, cruel and senseless bigots. It's your type that cause all the wars in the world. No I am not transgender. I am a heterosexual female, with a heart.

  • @alemappurple

    I love you <3 =)

  • @alemappurple Okay then where did you get your PHD in Neuroscience from?

  • @slicingwater

You don't need a PHD in anything, all you need is a brain cell to figure it out. Why is it so hard for some folk to understand that things can go wrong with our sexualities and gender? If things can go wrong with other organs of the body, then things can go wrong when it comes to sexuality and gender. Every individual is different, some are more different than others. Easy peasy to understand. No qualifications necessary.

  • @alemappurple your mixing up the physical with the mind. The only times what you said can happen is when a person is a hermaphrodite. These kids are being brainwashed by too much t.v.. also brainwashed parents. pumping children with this stuff to keep them in a state of constant illusion is horrific. every want to make gay seem like it is normal but in truth it is not. I don't have anything against gays, but the fact is it is a social disorder and we are now brainwashing are kids to be gay.

  • @alemappurple yet it doesn't mean that's the way things should be. if your example are organs, then why do you have to have them repair?

  • @alemappurple lol ur an idiot too, gays r usually born gays or become gays for a sexualy acitivit in da wrong time fermonse r fucked

  • @alemappurple Yeah, the dumb fucks commenting against the clip do not have any medical background. From a scientific, medical standpoint, like they have said, Gender identity and sexual preference lie in a spectrum. It's not black and white. Ever wonder why crossdressing straight men exist? There you go.

  • @alemappurple who are "these people". you've just posted a mindless rant without aiming it at anyone.. which makes your comment extremely useless..

  • @alemappurple shshsh shut your mouth. Tell it to Dr. Phil.

  • "Feminine" gay men and trans women are VERY different. Trans people still have "functioning bodies" post-op.

Transgender people have very hard lives with bodies that don't feel like the ones they should have - you might feel comfortable making remarks like that but your brain matches your body and here you are making remarks about trans people without understanding them.

  • Remarks like what? I'm not trying to hurt anyone. If anything, I'm trying to help people to stop thinking in such a sexist and self loathing way. There is no such thing as the wrong body. Being born with a clef lip is wrong and should be fixed, being born in a healthy female body that doesn't fit your and society's idea of feminine, is ok. I don't let my brain trick me into trying to fit in and remembering that my family and friends love me. Maybe it's all lack of security and self worth.

  • Do you have shit in your eyes? What the fuck are you saying? I never said that a man with a penis could carry a baby! If the brain was a blank slate, Doctors would never make mistakes in assigning sex to intersexed babies because it would not matter, but it does. The goes for everybody else. Dumb cunt!

  • The same goes for everybody else. And ,of course, the brain would not make your penis disappear because it does not have extraordinary powers and cannot modify body parts and it cannot not modify itself. if the brain was wired a certain way, as in the case of sexual-identity, it wil not change. If it's male-wired, it will remain male-wired, if female-wired, it will stay female-wired.

  • Hey litle Korean cock sucker. Genitals don't decide if you are a male of female, the brain does. You say you were effeminate as a child and it changed over time. In some cases it may change, whereas in others, it does not. My brother was like you when he was little, and he did not turn out to be a transsexual, but he also would not say he was a girl and he did not want to be a girl, as in the case of transsexuals.

  • Maybe one day you'll see you'll see meand you won't know I am, asssucker.

  • As A now adult male who had those exact feelings as a child, I only wish that my mother/parents were as supportive if I had approached them with the same request, if i had been given support and hormones as a child would be a much happier person today living my life as any other woman.

  • Matthew 7 versus 1-5

  • im transgender and a nursing student so i know that hormones shouldnt be given to children because their body cant handle it. however, i think they should be given hormone suppresents because their body will still develop

  • Naturally. Trying to put a five-year-old genetic male through female puberty...well, I don't know what that'd do (I'm NOT a nursing student) but it'd be tantamount to REALLY-DAMN-BAD.

That said, I would've loved it if I'd had the opportunity to pursue testosterone-blockers prior to puberty. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard enough time working myself through the system some four years after it.

  • if a kid is transgender and wants hormones, give them to them, big deal

  • Right. The quack doctors, insurance companies, psychiatrists, hospitals and their friends and families need money. This is an urgent matter!

  • see thats a problem because sex changes just create un fertile people and fake body parts

but when you give toddelers who are ignorant as of what they really want you are creating a situation where you have a confused little boy with a fake vagina or a little girl with a fake dick and when puberty strikes the boy with the vagina wont get his breasts and the tranny girl will have probally unwanted breasts

  • What about intersexed children then. They have chromosome mosaics and yet, we operate on them and most want to be operated on because their brain tells them they belong to one gender or the other, not both, even if they have a combibation of male and female genitals or a combination of male and female chromosomes.

  • If you are trans, first you take hormones, then you have surgeries to remove secondary sex charactristic, then you have surgery to change the primary sex characteristics.

  • denying being male or female in body in our society isnt important is just ignorant imo. It matters in always every situation, and acting like female (like you feel) in a mans body always make you look like a pathetic freak in everyday situations. i think supporting children with this disorder as early as possible would be great and actually i think children have a very very good feeling on their destination if you let them

  • Shit man, this has nothing to do with acting like a man or a woman,it's about BEING or FEELING to be a man or woman. If you were able to get past this, well, really, I am very impressed, but these people are rare and I would be incline to think that they lie to themselves a lot. Human beings are human beings, but the first thing used to define a human being is not religion or nationality or work, but it is whether someone is a male or female, no matter where you are. Everything springs from that.

  • either way, the fact that less than 20 percent of trans kids remain as trans adults is enough that if I had a kid, I wouldn't let them do it until they've had more experience and able to think for themselves for REAL. Either way it is too risky, but how would the parent feel if they butchered up the kids body, only to find that their kid 30 years later regrets it or hates themselves because society is treating them like shit. If you dont' change, you hate yourself, if you change, they hate you.

  • hormone therapy/sex change surgery isn't just some "magic drug" that's going to cure all. If only life and feelings were that simple. IT'S NOT. If that was true, then how do you explain the overwhelming amount of trans ppl that have to suffer still in society every day? Used in the wrong way and it could fuck you up for life. and that is why this issue is a controversial one till the end. I wonder if you can understand that. I rest my case.

  • "so everyone that doesn't think like you is a mentally ill wack job"

    Just you fraud.

" you ugly ass freak. "

Lol! Bring it baby, I'll put myself ass & my 1500 subscribers up against your faceless unsubscribed fake cross dressing preacher ass any day.

" you even realize that even after sex surgery or hormone intake, alot of those ppl STILL aren't happy?"

They correct the body, not the mind ! Only some religious retard would expect it to fix your brain.

  • 1500 subscribers eh? *bows down to you* Oh yes I see the light! thank you!..NOT. *snorts* And the last thing you said was hilarious. Hormone intake and sex surgery doesn't affect the mind? excuse me? ppl who are trans have a diff shaped brain then normal ppl dumbass, it is WHY they have the gender disorder and feel/think the way they do. Transmen have a brain slightly diff from a woman and vise versa. Testos and estrogen also affects your mood and mind, which in turn can alter your personality.

  • "Hormone intake and sex surgery doesn't affect the mind?

Nope, your BST shape isn't altered, it begins that way . You are only altering your body. If you weren't TS before you wont be after. PERIOD !

"the fact that less than 20 percent of trans kids remain as trans adults "

BULLSHIT ! There are no studies of trans kids ! There are no studies of transsexuals period you FRAUD!

  • Now you little fraud, I've outed Dr Phils "expert" as a religious nutjob liar who stole another researchers data and LIED ABOUT WHAT IT SAID ! Dr Diamond even says Nicholosi IS A LIAR ! And you want Toni to suck up to this total scumbag ! What a peach !

  • I really don't care who'se a liar and who isnt. my opinion on this matter will remain the same. Now kindly give up? Because you know, you'll never ever change everyone's mind because not everyone gives a shit about ppl like you. ^^ ppl like you not meaning "trans" but well, You. a selfish prick. and for your information, I'm an athiest. Don't know where you got this idea that anyone that doesn't agree with you is automatically religious. *shrug*

  • "I really don't care who'se a liar and who isn't"

Of course, the truth was never important to you. It's your ego.

    " I'm an athiest"

Yeah , thats why you favored the hymn " My God Is An Awesome God " with clips from The Passion . Uhuh ! Riiiigght!

"not everyone gives a shit about ppl like you. "

No one asked them to you religious fraud !

  • why are you still responding to me? o_O go away. I don't care bout you anymore. goodbye~ and if you respond to this again, then you really are a loser.

  • "if you cross this line .."

Yeah right you immature religious fraud !

  • "hormone therapy/sex change surgery isn't just some "magic drug" that's going to cure all."

Duh !!! Yah think ? WPATH (formerly the HBSOC ) is forscreening out the mentally ill.

"how do you explain the overwhelming amount of trans ppl that have to suffer .."

They are fired, or shunned or disowned or murdered. It's like the kids of gays who suffer ONLY because of other people ! It's religious frauds like you who have so little faith in your fake god you have to lie and distort & hurt.

  • I understand that it's a matter of how much pain one's feel not being the sex they should have been born into. Like I said, if you are able to withstand the pain, well, that's your business, the others should not have to suffer for it. That's why I want transsexual kids to have the chance to start as early as possible with hormones. First with medications that will only keep their body from changing in a way they don't want to,and then, when they are a littler older, hormone treatments.

  • I have the impression that the reason why your are so against children being treated with hormones to relieve their misery is because you did not have the chance to be taken care of like they are, so you say ''If I didn't get it, why should they.'' I am jealous too when I see them because my life would have been so much better if I had had what they have. However, it's too late now and we'd better do what we can to improve on people's narrow-mindedness.

  • What bothers me about you is when you talk of penises and vaginas as though this was all their was to transsexuality, which is far from the case. Like I said before, it's in the head, not anywhere else. If the brain says you are male, you are male, if it says you are female, you are. And, as far as I am concerned,it is much preferable to be hated by others than by yourself.

  • if a boy feels he is a girl and he gets a sex change when is he gonna get pregnate?he won't so whatever the fucked up mind in the little boy thinks he IS NOT A GIRL/WOMAN

  • Many biological women are infertile and ,yet, they are still considered women.

  • So, I guess by your standards, barren females are not women either.

  • whatever you think of that individual, why don't you just let the person decide for him or herself how he/she wants to live and just abide by that? Why do you people always have to stick you nose in everyone else's business just because you feel threatened by people who live differently than you.
