Are you sure you have them on a Mono, Class D amp? They sound like they are trying to play Full Range. You need to turn on a LowPass Filter. Sounds like one of them is starting to rattle, prolly because they are trying to play frequencies that they're not suppose to.

Ok i have the same jackhammers in my trunk with a 1200 watt SPL mono block D amp. Out of all brands I've tried (even fosgate), these are the best sounding subs as far as quality and hard hitting, but i can't stress enough how important setup is. If you have them in a trunk and you want the best bang without having a custom box built, try a L or S shaped Center ported box. It gives depth while maintaining punch and clarity.
