One thing I did like about GT is that Vegeta FINALLY accepted that he is not the strongest fighter ever and he finally accepted his new life and friends.

I thought it was the Buu arc as Toriyama appeared to be running out of ideas introducing Supreme gods who were pretty pathetic, two pair of fusions that actually did not help a lot, Krillin broke a record of deaths, the Super Saiyan 3 was kind of laughable, and the ending was another Super Genkidama "ala Frieza" but with assholes involved refusing to cooperate.
@Gamer19975 still I find the two previous arcs much better. SSJ3 made less sense (shave eyebrows?!) than SSJ4. Genkidama has never been so repetitive.
i think it left a bad message to have goku beat every villain every time and be the strongest everytime....it showed that as long as there is someone better than you, no matter how hard you try you will never be able to at least equal them....the end of dbz sucked and gt definitely sucked ass...

@ninetails009 Maybe because the way it was executed? Super Saiyan 4 was fine, and the Baby Vegeta Story was arguably a little better than the Buu arc of DBZ (Though the Buu arc sucked). But the rest of it, while it could have been good, the way it came about was dumb. Especially the Shadow Dragons.

It was like he took what had been a semi-serious show with some elements of comedy thrown in, and turned it into a full on comedy. I mean, we had hardcore villains like Piccolo, Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell, and then we get a giant baby who turns people into candy. Then when we finally get a serious villain, he turns back into a joke. There were some cool parts but as a whole, it was the worst saga.

Then, on to GT. At the end of DBZ, Goku was supposed to be training Uub to be the Earth's protector, yet he's barely in GT! What were they thinking?! He should have at least been Goku's sidekick!

@maniamaster2 That is your opinion, I liked Kid Buu the most out of all villains because he was straight up brutal. He didn't fuck around, he made everyone look like a joke and in the end he was still too powerful for anyone to defeat, if it wasn't for the ability to wish Goku's strength back that Spirit Bomb would have been tossed away or it would have killed Goku. Kid Buu just made everyone look like a joke, my opinion, best enemy in the series.

@sacr3 He definitely was a great villain (my personal favorite being Frieza), but that saga also took the whole super saiyan thing to annoying heights. I hate how there became such a focus on increasing levels of super saiyan (as this video shows). It also brings to light the whole strength progression. Whereas Frieza was once the terror of the universe, he's now able to be defeated by a single punch, as if he were nothing. It's just saddening.
@sacr3 Actually, the spirit bomb would have bounced off of Goku and back at Kid Buu, like it's supposed to. All that drama was meaningless. Just another Buu saga induced plot hole.
@LuckySharm It would have killed goku, he was exhausted and couldn't even hold onto it anymore. Buu would have simply launched it quickly back at Goku and finished him off. If not, the spirit bomb would have simply flew away and Buu would have finished them all off afterwards, because Vegeta wasn't strong enough and Goku was sapped of energy.
@sacr3 According to the Saiyan saga, when Krillin launched Goku's spirit bomb at Vegeta, Goku told Gohan that as long as you were "pure of heart" that you could rebound it. I don't see how that wouldn't apply to Goku as well, being the most pure of heart character in the series.

Vegeta and Cell threatened to do it, Vegeta would have if Goku didn't counter him, and Cell probably fucked around more than any villain ever, his only chance was a last resort after he lost his perfect form (Goku saved the day yet again) but Kid Buu actually had the brutality to blow up an entire planet and say: and not a single fuck was given that day.

My opinion is kid buu was the most brutal chracter yet he lacked intel. Cell joked around to much to pull of destroying a planet and broly made a planet explode cause he was joking.
@sacr3 Actually, I liked "Super Buu" (the one after the evil version ate the good version) the most, because he didn't care about a damn thing. He wasn't the strongest being at the time, but he was strong enough to wipe out all the people just because he felt like it. Plus, he finally gave that harpy Chi-Chi what she deserved: turning her loud self into an egg and crushing her.
@sacr3 Buu is just the scariest animated villain period. all the ways that he killed were just so sadistic, creative, merciless and most of all, out of no where. The scene that solidified it for me was when he escaped the time chamber and just went on a killing spree of the remaining main characters. There was no build up to their deaths and these weren't just nameless earthlings, these were characters we really thought would be safe. after that scene you could hear a pin drop, it terrified me.

@Friecelbu Ummm... It's been my understanding that most people like the Buu Saga. I don't like it, but that's just me. I personally think the Frieza Saga is the best, but I will always love the Cell Saga too, simply because Gohan is my favorite character. My biggest problem with the Buu Saga was that serious characters such as Piccolo and Vegeta were made into very childish characters who made kiddy jokes all the time.
@waldoman7 probably because in his normal state he does not have enough energy to use it but when he goes ss4 he has all the power he needs. also maybe kids just cant use it because there is limit to how it affects his body. but if neither of those are in place this is why i do not like GT

@waldoman7 I imagine it's a big like the way Captain Ginyu had a similar problem. Goku's body was unfamiliar to him, and he couldn't use most of its power. Kid Goku would probably be the same way. Although it's still his own body, he's not used to handling that much power when his body has such a different size, weight, muscle mass etc. It's probably not that he lacks the power to do it, it's just that he's using an unfamiliar tool.
well at least you have a theory, though considering the fact that ginyu got control of those powers in a matter of minutes, it's pretty unlikely that goku wouldn't get control of the powers of his old body in months.

@maniamaster2 Akira Toriyama was done with the series since the Cell Saga, but people was asking for more, so he decided to make the Boo Saga in the end, I liked the Boo saga, there was the SSJ2 and SSJ3 in them, Vegeto, and lots of new stuff :D

A big problem I had with the Buu saga was that in the end Gohan was stronger than Goku (Akira Toriyama has confirmed that when The Elder Kai unlocked Gohan's potential, he was stronger than Goku at Super Saiyan 3) and yet, Goku got all the glory again! Then, on to GT. At the end of DBZ, Goku was supposed to be training Uub to be the Earth's protector, yet he's barely in GT! What were they thinking?! He should have at least been Goku's sidekick!

@maniamaster2 I must admit that GT, was lame, i mean it has the SSj4 but didnt like the effects, the storyline, also the drawings were more childish and battles were not great at all, the exageration with their powers was taken away...
I was looking at some drawings of Dragon Ball Z yesterday, i saw some pretty neat ones, from the creator of bleach, imagine Dragon Ball Z with his art style, cause the drawings are badass :0

@maniamaster2 That is your opinion, I liked Kid Buu the most out of all villains because he was straight up brutal. He didn't fuck around, he made everyone look like a joke and in the end he was still too powerful for anyone to defeat, if it wasn't for the ability to wish Goku's strength back that Spirit Bomb would have been tossed away or it would have killed Goku. Kid Buu just made everyone look like a joke, my opinion, best enemy in the series.

@sacr3 He definitely was a great villain (my personal favorite being Frieza), but that saga also took the whole super saiyan thing to annoying heights. I hate how there became such a focus on increasing levels of super saiyan (as this video shows). It also brings to light the whole strength progression. Whereas Frieza was once the terror of the universe, he's now able to be defeated by a single punch, as if he were nothing. It's just saddening.

@sacr3 Actually, the spirit bomb would have bounced off of Goku and back at Kid Buu, like it's supposed to. All that drama was meaningless. Just another Buu saga induced plot hole.

@LuckySharm It would have killed goku, he was exhausted and couldn't even hold onto it anymore. Buu would have simply launched it quickly back at Goku and finished him off. If not, the spirit bomb would have simply flew away and Buu would have finished them all off afterwards, because Vegeta wasn't strong enough and Goku was sapped of energy.

@sacr3 According to the Saiyan saga, when Krillin launched Goku's spirit bomb at Vegeta, Goku told Gohan that as long as you were "pure of heart" that you could rebound it. I don't see how that wouldn't apply to Goku as well, being the most pure of heart character in the series.

He was just outright crazy and maniacal. Still, i'd have to say IMO frieza is easily the best DBZ villain because of how sadistic and cruel he was(made vegeta cry and killed an entire race). He pushed goku beyond his limits causing him to go super saiyan.

@sacr3 I would disagree that Kid Buu didn't mess around, but he did have the balls to blow up Earth. Vegeta and Cell threatened to do it, Vegeta would have if Goku didn't counter him, and Cell probably fucked around more than any villain ever, his only chance was a last resort after he lost his perfect form (Goku saved the day yet again) but Kid Buu actually had the brutality to blow up an entire planet and say: and not a single fuck was given that day.

@sacr3 Kid buu joked a lot but he was as brutal as broly and super buu fused together would be. goku actually was beating him in ssj3 but it did not last long, it gave up on him at the worst of times. but your right if goku did not get his energy back he would have been destoyed with the rest of the universe. @sacr3 Actually, I liked "Super Buu" (the one after the evil version ate the good version) the most, because he didn't care about a damn thing. He wasn't the strongest being at the time, but he was strong enough to wipe out all the people just because he felt like it. Plus, he finally gave that harpy Chi-Chi what she deserved: turning her loud self into an egg and crushing her.

@sacr3 Buu is just the scariest animated villain period. all the ways that he killed were just so sadistic, creative, merciless and most of all, out of no where. The scene that solidified it for me was when he escaped the time chamber and just went on a killing spree of the remaining main characters. There was no build up to their deaths and these weren't just nameless earthlings, these were characters we really thought would be safe. after that scene you could hear a pin drop, it terrified me.

@Friecelbu Ummm... It's been my understanding that most people like the Buu Saga. I don't like it, but that's just me. I personally think the Frieza Saga is the best, but I will always love the Cell Saga too, simply because Gohan is my favorite character. My biggest problem with the Buu Saga was that serious characters such as Piccolo and Vegeta were made into very childish characters who made kiddy jokes all the time.

@waldoman7 I imagine it's a big like the way Captain Ginyu had a similar problem. Goku's body was unfamiliar to him, and he couldn't use most of its power. Kid Goku would probably be the same way. Although it's still his own body, he's not used to handling that much power when his body has such a different size, weight, muscle mass etc. It's probably not that he lacks the power to do it, it's just that he's using an unfamiliar tool.
