Why is it so difficult for people to believe that there are aliens out there? When you look at the size of just our universe alone it becomes more then probabal that there are millions of other civilizations in the heavens. As to the question of "why dont they just talk to us?" They watch us kill ourselves with wars and disease everyday and you really wonder why they wont just land and say "HI?" To them we are like maggots or insects. They are to evolved for us. We make no sense to them.

They aliens are smart enough and they've watched us long enough to know that we will "never take over" anything. I would think that we are the big joke in the universe. They probably talk about us being "the ones that kill each other and distroy the only planet they have." They know they have nothing to fear from us. We will destroy ourselves before we can build our first interstellar engine.

My hyopthosis is that there was oncea civilization on mars as well as a thriving ecosystem, but now it has been wiped out due to an unknown catastrophe. And Mars may be a huge paleontological explosion of ancient extinct creatures, as well as archeological, having the remnants of tese civilizations everywhere on the planet.

Try putting revelations at the beginning of the bible and you'll get the picture. Even Noah's Ark can ring true if you look at it from this angle. It's all down to interpretation. Honostly, I think Mars did have intelligent life at one time, probably some million years ago and I think a solar wave or asteroid hit them and took out their magnetic field away. Thus stripping away their ozone and killing everything, I believe we'll either find life underground Mars, in it's frozen ice caps, OR we'll find fossils in the ice.
