There are racist people in every country in the world. That doesn't mean that the whole country hates a particular kind of person. That thought in itself is racism against the racist person's country.
I've been to many different countries, and not every person treats me the same as every other person, for whatever reasons. Everybody has different likes and dislikes, and not just about race. Don't let that stop you from learning whatever you want to learn.
3:30 he's right but in France it's called "Olive et Tom". I watched it on TV with my friend when I was 6 year old before going at school. We played Pokémon and Donkey Kong on Game Boy Color and we didn't even realise that all this was from Japan ^^
@ImKazuaki of course you love gaijins who are white western and speak perfect japanese! execept for korean, chinese, thais and other inferior asians, cause they are not lovable gaijins they are all illegal criminals right? you dont have to ask how i know this, the japanese media and government told me!
Best of luck to you but I really wish people stop playing "race card" when it comes to living in my country though. Like you've said, this topic can go on for days but just keep in mind that you'll not be accepted 100% of the time. You'll feel much better. To be fair, I didn't get accepted 100% of the time when I studied in the States. So called "rednecks" thought all the Asians are Chinese...
well, obvious reason, why they don't do this in States, is you can't really say, if someone is American or not just by looks. And you wouldn't stand in the middle of a street, asking people randomly, whether they're foreigners.
Second, learning Japanese is as much big a deal as learning any other foreign language- Japanese people make a big fuss out of foreigners who speak their language, because they.think,that.their language is too difficult for "stupid gaijin" to learn.
Granted but more and more non-English speaking people are moving to your country though (LEGAL or Illegal). Although I'm Japanese, I never make a fuss about non-Japanese speaking Japanese though. If you live in that country, you should learn the language whether it's Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, etc. etc.
Of course I've learned English by studying and living in the States instead of going to McEikaiwa Shools in Japan.
@mflolovesme Naah... wouldn't say that. The fact that they are conducting interviews with foreigners, doesn't make them less prejudiced against "gaijin". There are,of course, Japanese who are open-minded about other cultures, but from what I've heard, they are an exception rather than rule. Still, the topic you raised is very controversial, so, I guess, there'll be people who'd disagree with me.
lol they love germans over there hint maybe because of partnership in world war 2 lol

Why don't they do this in the States???? I guess learning the English language is not as big deal as learning Japanese.

English is harder than you thin, if its not your first language...
