This uses a sample from an 80s song called "Life in a Northern Town". Amazingly enough, they (Dario G) seemed to have made the best out of it in 1997 as electronic music then stood.

The version on this video is actually called Original Mix (not extended), from the Sunchyme single album released in 1997 with a set of remixes.

I've heard all of the 2010 remixes and in my personal opinion, they're not that great at all. The original mix will always be my favorite.
