@Coelacanthp Wat. I know your comment is 2 months old but PiT was the shortest. Even if your just talking a story run it only took around 10-15 hours. If you did things like fight every enemy you see and get every bean it took around 20ish. This game took 20-25ish just running through the story.

The PS3 comes ever so close with the Final Decisive Battle from Valkyria Chronicles, but I'm not talking about quality of instruments, but how awesome the song actually is.

Nonononononono. MM2 Dr. Wily Stage 1+2 is way too overrated, as is this song here. All the robot masters from MM2 have better music than Wily stage 1+2, especially Woodman and Flashman.

Actually it IS Final Fantasy quality. It was composed by the same guy who composes the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts songs. It just is so much more impressive since it's in a Mario game (that's not to say Mario doesn't have his fair share of good final boss songs, Ultimate Koopa and The Ultimate Show are good testaments to that).

Actually, this is the same GIRL that composes the Kingdom Hearts series' music. Yoko Shimomura. Final Fantasy is composed by Nobuo Uematsu. As far as I know, the only composing Shimomura's done for FF was a few songs in IV. I think the boss theme was one of them.

There's a challege medal which gives enemies more health and makes them hurt more. But being honest this isn't a "hard" game, no matter what you try to do. Try IWBTG, or ninja gaiden.

I'll figure something out. I'll figure out a way to hack the game to make the levels of all enemies 99 and Mario and Luigi level 1. Theres tons of stuff you can do like with codebreakers and kingdom hearts for example. It CAN be hard if one cheats.

You could keep mario and luigi at level 1, but unless you directly hack into the game, there's no way to change enemy stats.

I was dissapointed though at how easy they made the final boss. Final bosses are suppose to be hard and at the most 1 hour long, but with in about 15 minutes he died. All I did was destroy his eyes then use snak box and last you need are 3 falling stars to the dark star and he dies. But I really liked the final battle song it is the most epic Mari&Luigi final boss music I ever herd.
