I was terrified when I saw it because I was too worried that the kids might see this as a glorified tragic story about lies, deception, betrayal, cock spiting, butt poking, vomiting, divorce, sodomized in Mexico, beaten to death, growing old alone miserable in a trailer in despair. In fairness to the Brokeback lovers, no semen on their faces was ever shown in the film, maybe on the butt cheek but the lighting was too dark to see. The sodomy part in Mexico was never shown. Nice observation though.

The original was by Rick Nelson, I think. It came out in the 70's and his version is just so raw, so personal it just blows this one away. This one is too polished. (In my humble opinion).

In fairness to the Brokeback lovers, no semen on their faces was ever shown in the film, maybe on the butt cheek but the lighting was too dark to see. The sodomy part in Mexico was never shown. Nice observation though.
