Neither emo or old school. Old school is any of the five albums before, which are "Skillet," "Ardent Worship," "Hey You, I Love Your Soul," "Invincible," and "Alien Youth." I might be wrong, but I think that's in order. Then came "Collide," "Comatose," and finally "Awake." This was on "Collide." Definitely not trying to be a jerk. The fact that you even know anything on "Collide" is better than at least a third of Skillet fans lol. So no worries. :D

@bern1417 They have been in all of those genres because so many people have been in there band. Ben(the guitarist) really likes classical music so he got the band the violin and chello. When Korey joined with her keyboard it turned to Techno rock, before that it was industrial because there were noly 2 people in it. Besides the reason they are called Skillet is that when the 2 people joined they came from 2 kinds of rock so they mix and match.

I just want to say, Skillet is far from emo. They're just rock. Their songs are about important issues, and their newer stuff is a bit more personal, but I love it.
