These people aren't completely Miao/Hmong, what have you... In the village you see, the place is in Congjiang, a county far away from Miao dominated areas. The people you see are Dongzu, 侗族, of Congjiang in Guizhou. A completely different ethnic minority from Miao/Hmong, although there are some Miao/Hmong who have integrated in Dong culture.
