@MadeInChina81 Its called "vernix caseosa". Its a white, creamy substance that protects the baby's skin while its in the womb. Some babies have more of it than others.
@MadeInChina81 all babies look that way when they come out. Its a substance produced in the womb to protect the baby. Most of it wipes off and the rest of it comes off over the next week with a warm washcloth.

My son is named Noah and i had a contraction while i was getting an epidural too..i did not feel a thing frm the epidural on any of my three bbys cuz as it happens i was having huge contractions mid epidural...lol..i loved this vid it makes me wish i could have done this kind of thing when i was in labor..something for my kids to look back on as well would have been nice.. :)

She is beautiful! You went quick & did a wonderful job. You said you couldnt have done it without the epidural but you would be surprised how strong you are if you need to be. Thank goodness you didnt have to but you did such a great job I think you would have been fine. I had a 8 1/2 lb baby @home without an epidural or any other drugs. It was painful but not as bad as you think. You do what you have to do. I love the picture of her in the clear crib looking out. So cute!

I wish guys could have babies sometimes.. make them deliver them.. so that they know how it is.. I don't have any babies but all around me have.. and all their guys is like "well.. that's nothing.. I could do it"... no.. they couldn't.. guys are pussies.. and not as "ooohhh" as women are..

I seen a tv show where the lady ate some bean burritos before she went into labor and thats something I really dont understand..I would try to avoid anything thats gonna make delivery possibly disgusting by farting and going number 2 and beans and burritos do that..in fact I might not eat anything but some fruit or pop cicles if it is that serious
