I kind of explained it somewhere below but mostly it's spot lights, tweaked to fog setting and colored so you can see all of the light in it's path,and just embed them in rubber thats moving around and you got some cool light effects. Also you can have emitters emit leds, you can tweak the led and emit them all different colors.

alot of the functional items you unlock in the creator mode, by going through all the tutorials and stuff, like turning things to fire, or using pistons and stuff. mostly the materials, premade objects, and stickers are unlockable within the game.

when you open your menu with the square button. the top middle button, just plays the next tutorial on the list of tutorials you didn't do, so try that, and I think there is another way through the menu, I forgot though, but I skipped a bunch , and then went back and saw them, so don't worry they are still there.

That was nice! How did you make the lights with the alternating colors, and how did you use the switches to turn them on? Also, how do you acquire the silver material used in most of the walls?
I assume your talking about the lights in that circle thing? I mounted spots lights around the edge of the circle, tweaked each one to fog, and to a specific color, and then attached one of the key switch(one for each spot light) but they were all the same color switch, so the thing that spins around has the key switch on it so when it swings past that spot light, it turns that one on for a second.
The metal I unlocked it somewhere I'm probably more then halfway through so I'm not sure.
Ah! that was a rubber cicrle then I attached spot lights angled out, and tweaked to different colors(all on the side of the rubber circle, and on the face of it those regular white lights and on the layer in front of that I did a metal star and inlead it with glass so you can see the light through it. and a rotating bolt on top.
they were up kind of, I got my level republished last night, and I saw other peoples levels but when I tried to take them they just kept loading, to the point when I just gave up, so it seems like it's working, but it's super slow.
it took me about 14 hours, i had a lot of problems with the dude at the end of the board. but I'm pretty happy with it. I wish I added more secret stuff, and more point bubbles, but I'll add that next time, in part 2.
BTW the finished board is now on the servers, it's called, ROBOT DISCO INVASION PART 1. and my username there is Fooflex, just like here. So try it out!!! And thanks for your comments!!!

thanks for the comments, I loved messing with the lights it's alot of fun to play with them, I have a sweet idea for a laser gun blasting away an army of dudes that keep spawning, I'm going to work on that next, I 'll post it when I'm dune, but the game rocks, and really lets you do alot.

The lighting was amazing, after watching some Beta videos I wondered if you were able to tamper with the lights in the main game.
Is it just me, or are those googly eyes on the badguys really creepy..
