having purchased a 1990 Accord new, must say it was the worst car i have ever owned. The glass on the drivers door kept sliping out of place, my brakes failed, the speedo stopped working, the dash lights would go on off of at will, and I specifically chose a Japan built over an American built. That all said my 87 Prelude was awesome.
it sounds like you had a bad connection somewhere in your dash cluster; and there's no reason why a window would continue falling off track unless it wasn't fixed correctly the first time it happened by replacing a regulator and tracking guides. break failure, eh? i dunno... more details would probably disclose a reason why that happened. i own a 1990 DX model and i just hit 100k, and it runs like a champ! no problems whatsoever. regular maintenance is key.
well, they released the 94s in 1993. IT wasn't the start of a decade/model generation though, so nobody would see it as a step into the future as this commercial is attempting (or I think is attempting) to do.
the 1990-1993 Honda Accord was assembled in
Marysville, Ohio, USA
Sayama, Japan
Nelson, New Zealand

So they did that in 1993 for the 1994 model?
