Senna had a dominant car once. The 1988 McLaren. He had to fight with Prost in that one, who at the time was the most succesful driver of all time when it came to overall wins.

Sorry, but I don't see Herbert, Irvine, Barrichello in the same class as Prost.

Fangio won his first title aged 40 and his last aged 46. Jack Brabham neatly won his 4'th i 1970 aged 44. So the jury is still out.

Hakkinen had the best car 1998 till the year 2000, Schumi had the over drive the car in them days. In my view he should be 10 times world champion. In fangio's day the drivers didn't have to be so fit and no doubt more drank beer. different times same with football players.

Actually on some tracks in 1998 the Ferrari was the better car. Magny Cours for instance. By late 1998 Goodyear had overtaken Bridgestone too many argued. Same thing in 1999. The Ferrari was good enough to make Irvine and Salo score a 1-2 at Hockenheim, and Irvine almost became champion with it. In 2000 the McLaren and Ferrari were roughly equal, but just remember that the reliability of the McLaren meant Hakkinen scored zero points in the first two races, which Schumacher won.

Irvine only was in with a change because hakkinen was falling off the road that year. even Joran could have won that year. In monza Irvine was only 19th or something on track. schmi came back as th number 2 and was 1.6 secs faster then eddie.

Schumacher had the best car in 1994. He also had the by far best car in 2002 and 2004. The 2001 car was still better than either the Williams or the McLaren. The 2006 car was better than the Renault in the second part of the season.

How many champion team mates did Schumacher have? Senna had Prost. Mansell had Piquet. Jim Clark had Graham Hill. Prost had Lauda.

And so what if he "should" be 10 times world champion when he can't even outrace Nico Rosberg now. That matters.

Yeah right, like you knew what Hill was assuming... Hill later admitted that it was a stupid move, to try an impossible overtaking manouver right there. At that point how could he be sure about Schu's cars condition? He would have caught him easily on the straight, 15 secs later.

Besides that, banning Schu in Spa + 2 race for the teams orders in Silverstone was ridiculous FIA bullshit. Hill never deserved the 94 title, Senna would have made it.

Hill may have said he`d `stupid' to try and overtake, but I`ve never heard him say it.

As for overtaking 15 secs later on the straight . . .Hakkinen tried that in F3 and got brake tested out of it.

Es cierto, pero si no hubiese habido contacto lo normal habría sido que Schumacher alargara el viraje por fuera (de si se hubiese pasado de frenado o no, ya pasaría a ser especulación) y Hill, por dentro, alcanzando el piano, pero a los 0:14 uno se da cuenta inmediatamente que Schumacher giró el volante tratando de colisionar a Hill intencionalmente, ya que lo podía ver perfectamente por el retrovisor derecho.
