  • you can't fool me "randy" or should i say brock

  • @hex0enmechic0 lol i always thought he looked like Brock too

  • 1:44

I cannot stop hearing this as "Whore Research Club"

  • 1:52 OH GAWD brock scaped the pokemon universe

  • @MysteryEzekude Good luck trying to get the rights though

  • I must make a YTP of this.

  • Wonder if they'll remake this?

  • @KingNice92 I'm planning to make a sequel once I get my university degree and have another years of experience in the gaming industry.

  • shit they really hired voice actors from pokemon or something

  • Child Abuse!

  • The dialogue is killer:

"Want to go for a walk?"

    "Exposition exposition exposition exposition exposition!"

    "Yeah. Uh, I know."

    "Exposition exposition exposition exposition?"

    "Cool story bro."

  • man that music is funky

  • I LOVE THIS GAME! I STILL PLAY IT TO THIS DAY!

  • @blasterman9 Me to its definitely a classic

  • Yup, that is Sonic's va Ryan Drummond as Kevin. And Lani Minella, Rouge, as Eriko

  • Favorite dreamcast game although i never finished it. The game was hard but it had this cool atmosphere and the music was scary. It sucks no more horror games try to do something else besides the same zombie stuff. This game was so original i dont care what people say this is a 10/10 game for me.

  • she sounds fond of her father

  • "Nice" lip syncing.

  • She sounded kinda effed up....

  • This looks like an interesting game. Is this a rare DC title, or is it fairly common? I may consider hunting it down one day if it won't cost me a small fortune to purchase.

Unfortunately, "niche" gaming is essentially dead these days, so I have to go back a decade to find gems like this.

  • @spicyechidna94 - It's not terribly rare, although it's kinda hard to come by in stores. It's pretty easy to find online, though.

  • @kubevubin That's nice to know. DC games are not very common in my area, so I guess I'll have to check online. Thanks.

  • @spicyechidna94 somewhat rare i think i have a copy i have to check...

  • what was up with erikos father though

looks like aa deformed head crab got him

  • Bert's finest masterpiece.

  • @LucasJWF

This is a very scary game, because of the fact that You have to use your six senses and your head. Besides that, You get to use guns and other stuff. This is a very rare game and was very much ahead of it's time. I think in scary factor it's scarier than Slient Hill and Resident Evil. This game was the real deal. Its was the Saw of video games. If anything this game should make a great movie and some other company needs to do a remake of it.

  • @WarshipAngelus Yeah. Jaleco was a great company.

  • 2:22 "How'd you get 'em?"

    "From a PetCo Promotion."

This games' sense of humor never ceases to amaze me.

  • Look! It's brock!

  • Dreamcast was the SHIT when it first came out. The graphics stood up with the ps2 and the xbox, and it came out way before. It even had a mini gameboy for a memory pack. I owned one, this was by far my favorite game. this game was so twisted, and its campiness was part of the draw. And so exciting to play, this FF 7and mario 64 make up my three fav games of all time. Ya im old, could be woirse, could be a donkey kong fan, the only one I like is the snes version.

  • So...Kevin Kertsman is the human form of Sonic the Hedgehog

    lol

  • It's too bad they didn't appear to have as much time working on adding lip movement as they did with Blue Stinger.

  • Brock, wtf?

  • 1:58 look it's Broock from pokemon!

  • @loomp Obviously you know nothing of gaming. Sorry, using the amount of games you own to justify your ego isn't allowed. Also, what do you use your expensive paperweight for?

  • This voice acting Kewwl

  • Comment removed

  • @loomp - I love Illbleed. I'd say that it's a pretty decent-looking game for the time, aside from the character graphics. You don't see too many big-name development studios taking chances with fresh game ideas. Just look at Deadly Premonition. Great game, even without the huge budget.

  • @loomp the dreamcast was significantly more powerful than the ps2. lip synch was a new toy in the developers toybox and not everyone wanted to spend the time getting it to work.

  • Comment removed

  • @loomp - I don't think that "piss poor" is a very accurate way of describing them. There are some excellent character models in this game, and the textures are pretty impressive, as well. I'm pretty sure that you'll run into games whose characters lack proper lip-synching (or any lip movement, for that matter) in just about every hardware generation. That isn't a sign of a bad developer.

  • Comment removed

  • @loomp - You assume too much. I own well over 700 games. As far as current-gen games, I own at least 40 Wii games and probably around 30 Xbox 360 games. I also own a lot of games through Steam, and I spent over $600 on my PC's video card alone. You're insinuating that "good" involves just having good graphics. Illbleed is a great game. And the fact that you've never encountered a game without lip-synching says to me that you're either blind or haven't played much more than current-gen games.

  • Comment removed

  • @loomp - I spent over $1,000 on my PC, as well. Your point? And I realize that my game collection isn't the largest on the planet. I was stating how many games I own to give you an idea as to how seriously I take gaming. I'm not a casual player. As for Illbleed being a "crappy" game, again, I completely disagree. For someone who's so in touch with games that had to rely more on pretty graphics, I'd expect you to understand why.

  • @loomp No one gives a fuck about your Atari shit xD

I never knew what was so exciting about stick figure graphics. I'm glad I started my gaming with the Genesis. Anything older than Genesis is garbage lmao.

  • @loomp

Why don't you check out Shenmue's graphics? The Dreamcast is superior to PS2

  • 3:57

    A hundred million dollar chainsaw?

  • 2:10

    Waaawt, me shell!?

  • The voice acting is terrible in this game. As in, Resident Evil terrible.

  • this game was cool.. use to love playing it in the dark lol

  • 2:38 Uhm......is he having an arm spasm or something?

  • "ID USE THE MONEY FOR A CHAINSAW!!"

  • its sad they all die

  • @downthehill17 Everyone except Eriko and Kevin.

  • That music is fucking ass

  • I just got this came for my Dreamcast and could not figure out what the fuck the game mechanics are supposed to be. Am I supposed to run around and get attacked by telephones and drawrs or what? Thanks for the walkthrough man. This game is weird, ipeople with normal American minds can't fathom it, you have to be weird or Japanese.

  • Yeah, a better tutorial really would've worked wonders for this game. You're really supposed to take things slowly, but you can barge right through as you earn more money, as long as you stock up on healing items before each level (as I do in my other playthrough).

If you start playing Illbleed with the idea that it's gonna be like RE, though, then you probably won't do well. XD

  • LOL Brock from Pokemon on steroids! XD

  • the guy in the green vest and yellow shirt has sonics old adventure voice actor. man, sega dreamcast used alot of the same voices.

  • Kevin and Eriko are the same voice actors from Blue Stinger, another game from the same creator of Illbleed. Dreamcast LOVES to reuse the same actors.

  • i would love it if i had green hair

  • Oh my Gosh, that girl does Nancy Drews voice!

  • Brook :O

  • OMG from 4:52 made me and my husband laugh so hard it hurt. "Mmmph mmm mm mmph." XD

  • Hahahaha...I suppose that it IS kinda funny, come to think about it. XD

  • one of the most underrated horror games ever, i enjoyed through the entire thing :)

  • The girl doing the speech at the start of the video really sounded like Rouge...

  • Lmao, other than Kevin and Eriko, the voice acting is pretty terrible... The first 2 are not great either, but yeah... Still, awesome game.

  • I swear I heard "head of the whore research club."

  • It's HORROR research club.

  • *barges into room* Okay, who took the Shady Drug! >=(

  • They should make a sequel called

    Welcome to Bucketheadland

    Starring Buckethead

    and Bootsy Collins

    and Giant Robo

  • why does everybody have to run in this game instead of walking away they just ran wtf

  • Okay, if she won the competition with a speech like that... then what were the others like?

  • Oh God, since when did Brock turn into a muscle-bound buffoon?

  • @Krimmson

    and wheres the pokeballs hmm

  • @Krimmson When he stole your penis.

  • @Krimmson And had the voice of Kuwabara.

  • I got this game, and I LOVED it. I was at the right age where the main character's clothes tearing off really enhanced the experience, too! I'm looking for the legendary "alternate ending". Anybody find it?

  • I've gotten the alternate ending before. I just haven't bothered to play through and actually capture it.

  • @kubevubin can u really make her naked?!?

  • Aside from a few bits of clothing covering up certain parts, yeah.

  • Why does Keven sound like Sonic?

  • because the actor who voiced as Kevin IS the same actor who voiced as Sonic

  • So let me get this straight. A hot pink wearing chick, Brock from Pokemon, and Tidus from FFX are going though a big Haunted House park? This...is the GREATEST GAME EVER! And it actually looks pretty creepy too. Now I regreat not buying that Dreamcast a bit ago...

  • LMAO!!! This comment killed me, lol!!!

  • Wow, christ I was surprised to see how dead on you were. They look exactly like them.

  • That is a pretty accurate statement sir. I appulad you.

Also I had a dreamcast but I never bother to pick this up. I'm really hoping that this years E3 will have some type of all dreamcast games will be on Xbox Live/PSN announcement.

  • WoW, nobody told me Brock from Pokemon was gonna be in this.

  • I was like 9 when i got this game. I got it with a dreamcast someone was getting rid of. ITS SCRAED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. But now im older, and i realize HOW TO BEAT IT. So im not scared of it anymore. It's a great game! There should be a secound one.

  • xD Wow! Thats exactly what happened to me too. It still is a bit scary, though. I think Fatal Frame 2 is scarier though.

  • The music's awesome x,D

  • These voice actors are killing me

  • This game brings many good memories, it was so good 1 of my favorite game though I never finished it, I may go back to play it :3

Dreamcast is such a lovable unique system, it didn't have to stop :(

  • kevin sounds like he has the same voice actor as sonic

  • I just got a dreamcast (YES!) and is this a good game? I heard it was, thought i might pick it up...

  • It has a bad reputation for the wrong reasons. It's a great game if you go into it in search of an original experience. Too many people expected it to be another RE game or something of that nature, and I wouldn't blame them for being disappointed in that case. I, personally, prefer Illbleed to RE, though. This game's awesome. Definitely get it.

  • yeah, i have seen it get mixed reviews, although when i first heard about it, i didn't expect it to be a RE type of game. It seems very interesting, so i'll probably get it....but no matter how great it is, RE is MY ONE TRUE LOVE! :D

  • The only RE games that I could ever get into were 2 and 4. I'd say that 4 was easier to get into, though, because it didn't have those awful tank-like controls that the originals did. I just can't adapt to those. XD

  • You didn't like Code Veronica?

  • The only thing that I really like about it is the intro. It has those God-awful tank controls, so no, I don't like it. If they were to remake all of the older RE games with RE4-style controls, then I'd probably give them another shot.

Like I said, RE2 was decent. Still, I doubt that I could play through it entirely.

  • Ah well. The earlier RE's certainly are an acquired taste.

I don't know if it's just me or is the guy who plays Kevin also the guy who plays Eliot Ballard in Blue Stinger?

  • No clue. I'm not really a fan of Blue Stinger.

  • reminds me of Tecmo's deception.

  • It's more of a reverse version of Tecmo's Deception, but yeah. I might be uploading some footage of Trapt at some point, which is definitely similar to Deception, as well.

  • hi, i've just started this game out of interest and what to know how you secret for traps, it's for the dream cast and in japanese lol.

  • Are you trying to ask how you search for traps? I should probably make an instructional video on this, but I'll try to explain. First off, walk slowly in the game. Don't rush, because you'll only get killed quickly that way. Then, once one of your senses spike, you should stop and survey your surroundings with the Horror Monitor.

If you see your sense of smell spike, for instance, then you should mark whatever would more than likely stink.

  • so if her thing spikes go into FPS mode and look and something that might smell. But I don't know how to search for it, you know like the scope thing. and then you get a blue orb round it. i just don't know what button to press go get her to acutally suspect a trap.

  • You need to find the Horror Monitor in each level. Once you've located it, you'll use the A button to mark traps.

  • and the horror monitor is the bar with 'sight, hearing..' etc?

  • No, the Horror Monitor is the item that I find at the beginning of each level. I'll make a vid at some point to demonstrate this.

  • ok cheers thanks for your help, looking forward to the next vid. ^^

  • 100 million bucks?....

  • isnt that Brock? lol

  • What system is this for?

  • Are you serious? Check out the title.

  • What's Sega Dreamcast?!?!?!

  • *cries*

  • That's much more horrifying than this game is!

Thanks for the up, I love Illbleed. Sometimes I can't tell if it's supposed to be hilarious or not. At least it can pass it off as intentional campiness, unlike SOME titles I know. I'm looking at you, Blue Stinger!

But that's what's so great about the Dreamcast. The games can be camp, but still really fun.

  • A game system made by Sega that failed royally against the Playstation 2 Game system. R.I.P.

  • Playstation 2's graphics suck more than most of Sega Dreamcast's game graphics.

  • epoch fail.

  • Awsome game, loved it! still paly it to thise day!!

  • first horror game i ever played :]

  • OMG!! I miss this game sooo much, it was my first Survival Horror and I was only 7. Took me about 3-5 weeks to finish it. I still have the original jewel case, manaule, and artwork. I might play it before christmas comes along to pass the time.

  • My favourite character is Kevin

  • OMFG I REMEMBER PLAYING, AND BEATING THIS, TOOK ME FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR and I freaked the frig out so many times, towards the end I got used to it though lol

  • When i was little i got scared from illbleed i still play it iv never bet it but i don't get scared any more

  • Played this with my cousin 6 years ago....

    It's pretty differenet.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I've never played the game, to be honest (in fact I don't own a Dreamcast anymore ._.) but I've seen a different video of this but I couldn't hear what the characters were saying due to the person's commentaries on what was going on (not that it was bad, per se).

So it's nice to finally hear what's going on!

  • Michel is so cute!

  • i wanna play this, but theres only like 3 expensive copies on ebay......

  • really

i got it sealed on ebay for like two dollars a few years ago

  • See the graphics for the Dreamcast, makes me appreciate the beauty of the X-Box 360 graphics engine.

  • The Xbox 360 doesn't have one "graphics engine" for all of its games. Dreamcast games could look quite good, actually. The intro to Illbleed doesn't look all that great, but the graphics later on in the game look quite nice for the time.

  • Not really, Illbleed always looked pretty bad even when it came out.

It's weird because Blue Stinger, a launch title by the same developers, looked much better, at least texture wise.

  • 100 million bucks!!! hell yea i would of gone!!

  • i sorta wish illbleed came to real life

or just a haunted house imitation of it so your life isn't in any real danger like the game ^__^

  • Characters look like Brock, Tidus, and that gothic girl from that one show. U know?

  • I hate this game...

  • Why? If you were expecting it to be anything along the lines of Resident Evil, then I can understand your disappointment. There's no other game like Illbleed, though, which is a shame, seeing as how it's so entertaining and original.

  • Hey look, Brock's been taking Steroids!

  • reminds me of the movie slashers

  • I'D USE THE MONEY FOR A CHAINSAW

  • Thanks for posting this I have been trying to find an actual walkthrough for this for awhile. I was curious about the game

  • ...Randy Fairbanks=Brock?

  • No U. By the way guess who this is.

  • i have a question for the illbleed staff though, what is the logic that they spent 3 days in the cinemas they are staring in but it only takes one day with Eriko by their side when it is for the completion of the park, it is really freaky to think about, i think if a friend is in a horror park for 3 days either the park has about 100 areas to explore and the spent the night there, or they are dead, i just find it funny that they are each still alive when you find them

  • Well, it's very possible that they did fairly well in each area up to a certain point. Think of it this way: They obviously all made it past the save points in their respective levels. Furthermore, the game never specifies whether or not each of them beat another level (or several).

  • ... true, but it is also questionable that when you save them, other than the ability of playing them with a powered up character that is better to play with in a later level,(For Example: Michel is saved in level 2, and is perfect for the next 2 levels due to her high adrenaline), you get nothing really, no extra money, no extra items, nothing, i could understand kevin and randy due to the fact they could use the money in the ER, but michel is in a level with, nothing that could cost money

  • i need to point out what i said in the responce,...Money in the ER... they could use their remaining cash on hand for recovery opperations, due to the ER being about halfway, mid-beginning of the stage, other than that, in most games of this type, you get something more than the safty of a friend

  • Again, do keep in mind that they very well could've beaten other levels, so Michel may have already done upgrades in other levels. Honestly, it's possible that her friends are only kept alive to lure Eriko to the park and keep her there, since she's probably a bit more confident that the others are alive when she rescues each one.

  • ... ok i get it, but i have to point out that it is not the only fact that she is trying to save her friends, once all 3 was found, she would have most likely said that they all should leave the place... if not for the fact that the gate is locked behind her traping her and any visitor who has a death ticket to illbleed. , i know that it seems like i am being like an ass but i am just puting logic to it, other than that you are absolutely correct ^_^

  • You're mouth isn't moving!!

  • Great job showing some support of this forgotten Dreamcast GEM. Kudos!

  • this game is fucking awesome! good job man

  • Well' now I realize that Michael Reynolds is the last person I should go 2 about facing my fear: The K-fee auto commercial.

  • damn..i played before this horror game..it's more horror than resident evil even is old this game..hope i can playback tis game..

  • Great video, thanks.

  • thanks for posting this walkthrough

  • Yes! I love this game thanks for putting it up.

  • You're welcome. There's plenty more to come, as well. I'm working on a second walkthrough with no Horror Monitor, and I plan to do a third walkthrough after that in order to show everyone the true ending.

  • ILLBLEED!!!! FUCKING AWESOME!!!! YOU ARE THE FUCKING MAN!!! gotta get the real ending, nothing like running around with eriko half naked

  • Hahahaha...thanks. I get a lot of really, really positive feedback about my Illbleed videos, but it's always fun to see people's enthusiasm for the game.

And I'm working on a walkthrough with no Horror Monitor for now. My next walkthrough will probably be the naked Eriko one, so no need to worry. :P

  • could the dreamcast not make their mouths move?

  • Well, considering the fact that Dreamcast isn't the one making the games, no. Blame that one on the developers. Still, the game's so great that it doesn't matter, anyway.

  • I've seen a PS2 game Kuon, and A Tomb Raider 3? (was it) and there MOUTHS NEVER MOVE!!!!

so *shurgs* this is older than both of them!

  • @toasteee252 Yeah, I mean, Blue Stinger had facial animation. That was a game that Crazy Games created before Illbleed...

  • omg i loved this game:D i miss my dreamcast:(

  • Buy a new one. I'm sure that you can find them for relatively little money if you look around locally.

  • i have none but it's in another country so...and i havnt been there in a long time...thk u so much for uploading this classic:D takes me down memory lane:D
