i've always wanted to be an actress..ever since i was maybe 4 or 5 i wanted to act...but there's this one thing: im terribly short...but now that i know that there is this amazing actress called helena bonham carter and that she actually is exactly the same height as me im thinking that maybe you dont have to be 170cm tall :) love helena!! shes my favorite actress, ever! i lovett :)

@21karo12 Being short isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's always better to be shorter than a male you are acting next to, it isn't quite as romantic when the girl has to bend down to kiss the guy. I am a 6 foot, 16 year old girl which makes it quite hard to find decent on stage roles. But height isn't that big of a deal when the camera can work wonders. I mean, in House of Wax the female star had to wear little stilts because her male costar was so tall. :)

It's not that people of that caliber 'don't care about how he (they) look, because they understand on a particular level that they make up a minority of individuals in society; it is simply that many of them would rather be judged upon their 'innner' self...and find that they NEED to work harder to get people to see them as more than just 'a pretty face'...
