Wasp was a bully, but a victim whom eventually turned become a Decepticon.
I know i used to HATE him but i also understand they he kinda deserved it cause of the way he use to treat Bee at boot camp. Actually I think Sentinel Prime was more of a jerk then Wasp ever could be. Wasps end result in Predacons Rising was due to insanity and a grudge that was dug too deep to fix. The themes of collective punishment against the entire unit and other unit members "hazing" the screw-up responsible for their discomfort...
What I saw was that Wasp showed a certain drive to get to the goal he had in mind. I managed to see there was something else to Wasp than just being a bully. I admit he was a bully, but you gotta think, so was Ironhide! Does that mean Ironhide deserved to sent down the same vindictive path as Wasp?
You have to look at why Wasp and Ironhide bullied Bumblebee. At first they simply excluded him and just laughed in his face, but once Bumblebee started building up all those punishments against his team the two would want to punish him back. We saw Bumblebee as a victim then entire episode because hes one of the main characters of the series and you always want to underdog to win.

Although, probably not as hands on as Wasp and Ironhide.

I'm kinda neutral about Wasp right now. It's cool that Waspinator made an appearance in Animated, but I personally thought Wasp was kinda cute before...
