@Volk91 cheers that was around 2 year ago ,, since then its got smoothed bonnet ,eletric side mount intercooler,18inch rims,ealy tail lights, resprayed in black with a bit of slightly sparkle paint , bad news its not moved for over a year and half

reason i use this ive tryed differnert sizes etc and the std t5 rims , have a nice turbo pull in 3rd gear , (eats scoobies) , ive fitted some 18inch at 225/35/18 and they crap , tbh

yes go on vzi ,usely a few on there ,major things are floors heater channels , inner wings/ rear archers,a pillers, engine wise , smoke/crank end float/bad starters/ and look down sides etc for filler ,,yes guys the bugs been sat for over a year in the garge hasnt moved , so ill let everyone know when its for sale

@ian9207 There is chance to get more than even 400 HP from the flat-4 when you put some turbocharger. I saw one Bug with VW flat-4, 28psi boost and 416 HP.

just somert differnert ,has most thew scoobys/porshce in them ,155mph plus is fast enoegh in any bug ,,and a 12 second quarter isnt bad either ,cheers ,if the vechical hand not been messed with it would still have a 1300 aircool ,but that got crushed along with a load of other engines/gearbox etc

well u try fitting the same lump and wheelbase,in a bug....wheels are 16inch,its the archers which make them look to small,i dont really care its a 12 second bug ,,wait till it gets smashed to bits carnt wait..

to me not too bad pal,i just cut the old firewall rear end out and fitted the lump ,loom,and modifyed it ,tuck me 4months to do the full conversion ,included makes monts frame work and stripping wireing loom in ,etc

just a std 71 matey i just welded and cut holes for pipe (now has too porshce ones on instead as this was a bit loud for mot lol ,cheers glad u like it

Kept the volvo alloys too eh :p very nice example of a bug. I may have a written off 1.2 16valve engine to play with from a fiat bravo... any suggestions? i would rather play with a shell like a v dub and the write off i have now than sell it for parts.

i always fanced a fast aircool with a good spec but its all down to the pennys in ya pocket lol,so i thought id fit this as police use them up and down the moterway lol,great when u fit it in a bug shell lol,soon as ive sorted a runing prob when warm,ill pop some videos up off it in action (hopefully)i like the 1300 badge lol as well gives the boys races something to pissed about lol

If money isn't so much of an issue why not buy an old bug - if you haven't got one suitable already - and get a specialist or specialists to do a similar job for you?
