  • Good review on a great car- quick, concise, and yet he still covered most of the basics that people want to hear about before looking into a car themselves.

  • So where in the hell is the spare tire???

  • My Mom can give a better review of the Jetta Sportwagen.

  • this thing pulls a lot of chicks.....granny chicks.

  • finally they got a wagen....its more versatile than sedan...i have a 2003 gti and i can get my great dane easily with the seats down...

  • he meant to say you could hide your coke stash in the trunk

  • That's really cool! I hope that you realize a lot of people enjoy your videos a lot. Make some more please (= haha they're interesting

  • yes this was a great video i really enjoyed watching this video it made me laugh and i really have to say it was very intertaining

  • nice car!

  • i test drove this car and it feels like im driven a BMW

  • buodlight: "i test drove this car and it feels like im driven a BMW"

Jetta tdi is just a front wheel drive, front heavy clatterbox from EU, with overestimated mileage (Euro drivers get 38 MPG, source: spritmonitor, not 50 MPG as some people in the US believe)

It's based on Golf/Rabbit (same chassis, engines, trannies, everything)

Anyone who claims it handles like a RWD, front-light, 50-50 weight distribution Bimmer is either on drugs or works for Volkswagen PR department

  • so theannoyingdogpoo what is your point?

  • yoobro91: "so theannoyingdogpoo what is your point?"

    My point is that:

    - Jetta diesel never drove like a BMW, never does and will never do

    - it returns 35 MPG not 50 like some marketers are trying to imply

    - even modern diesels with particulate filters are more health risky than petrol engines. ADAC Ecotest proves my point: 800 cars investigated, petrols make the upper 400, diesels make the lower 400

  • Uhhh i dont think that is true. I've seen a TDI jetta with a upgraded turbo and the whole deal get mid 40s MPG. Most people just take off the particulate filters and see a gain in MPG.

  • Hmm..abit ironic that Europeans (of which about 60% drive "dirty, polluting, black-smoke-making" diesels which don't comply with US and Canadian standerds) are one of the cleanest, happiest, and healthiest people on Earth.

The real problem is those American V8s with their pointless 6.0L engines that get like 12 MPG. Why do you think they're going bankrupt now?

  • You know shit about diesels i see. Modern europan diesels polute less than you V8, and no, diesels dont make black smoke. Stop living in 20th century. Also they are way more efficient than petrol engines, since they consume WAY less fuel than petrol engines while they feel more powerfull and have better accelerations than petrol engine. Turbodiesels have much higher torque than petrol, and modern europan diesel engines are, in terms of engineering 20 years beyond american petrol engines.

  • As you obviously didn't notice..i put "dirty, polluting block smoke making diesels" in italics, meaning im being SARCASTIC. I'm actually on your side, which is also why I stated the real problem is the American V8s..I have a diesel car as well..and no, i know as much about diesels as you do

  • Lies

  • A normal jetta is just a golf with a boot!

  • In Germany, this is a "Golf Variant" (Touring). Funny how the names vary by country. In Japan, the German "Bora" (=American "Jetta") is sold as Golf HS. And the "Golf" is sold in America as "Rabbit".. I wonder if this is necessary for success...

  • If I'm not mistakeing, "Rabbit" is very popular variant of pacage you can buy for (EURO) Golf, Golf+ , Jetta and Passat, traditional pacages like "Olympic" and "Edition"

Trendline, Comfortline and Sportline are standard from Polo to Passat

  • according to german wikipedia, Golf I and Golf V are called "rabbit" in the US.

  • There was no Jetta until 2004, so 0:29, Bora estate... ???

  • In the US it's always been called Jetta, even in the times of Vento. No idea why :) Maybe Americans couldn't learn so many names for the same series :P

  • Produced in Volkswagen factory in Mexico maybee... ?

    -funny theory thow... :)

  • I want the manual TDI one with a panoramic sunroof! It looks better than the Jetta Sedan I think.

  • definitely, jetta sedan is an eyesore.

  • he's boring

  • it looks like the old honda oddyssey

    lol

  • 5 cylinders?...

  • why not?

  • sel has the 2.0T 4 cyl.

  • DSG sucks though..And engine is not that cool,If the 2.0 turbocharged 200 hp engine was available,It would be a way better. This car would be awesome on gas with 6 speed manual and 2.0 TDI,Can make about 45-50 mpg.

  • have a flag up ur ass then.
