I understand people get angry at killing animals, especially when its trophy hunting. This particular lion needed to be shot. I watched this exact episode on animal planet. It was actually a "man eater" it had killed over a dozen people with unprovoked attacks. I hate trophy hunting, but when animals get out of control ie killing woman and children working in the fields. They need to be destroyed!

This was a Trophy hunt ,not every Lion hunted in africa gets shot because it poses a threat to humans.if there was no big bad american trophy hunters,lions would quite possibly only have existed in Zoo's. The only reason Africans try to conserve is because they can benefit financially from it.If not for Trophy hunters who invests millions every year in Africa, they would kill every wild living thing, because it is in direct competition with their Domestic livestock.
