These seals are up north were there are no penguins, but the point is that we, like other animals, violently kill lesser animals.

@departed402 they kill each other for food or to protect themselves. We club these baby harp seals and skin them sometimes while their still alive for a coat. Thats the only reason. no other. While we are indeed animals we are not killing for an animal reason. What this is is sick and twisted. We know how to kill animals in humane ways if we really wanted or needed this fur yet we torture them for it. There is nothing that can make this seem right.

1. Chimps kill for reasons other than food or defense. There are other animals killing for less-than-noble reasons.
2. I don't see activist groups for bludgeoned raccoons, badgers, beavers, and other animals killed solely for their furs. Just these cute seals.
3. At least wild animals have chance to run.
