Also the whole grunge movement for the most part was about abandonment and family misunderstanding them and who we were and why we were the way we were and that no one cared cuz they were all caught up. It was a cry out over broken homes and broken lives. Kids turned to music and drugs and tried to rage against everything with all they had even down to the clothes they were screaming that they were dead and dying breaking and broken. They were lost then and didnt know how to BE alive anymore!

I believe Lady Gaga is more known for her 'style' than her music. We are all entitled to our own opinion, however, on anything. Not just sluts and gays who like her. Though, I do not like her at all. In my opinion I think the songs with more meaning in the lyrics, like the majority of Our Lady Peace songs do, should be more known. However, that is not the case. I believe they like a song based more on the fact of how it sounds (the beat and base for example) rather than the meaning behind it.
