In response to texas - no parrots (cockatoos) were harmed in the filming of this video. It was shot at a wildlife recovery zoo in Australia. All the cockatoos were saved from various forms of certain death in the wild (e.g. one couldnt fly because he had been electrocuted in power lines.)
The wildlife preserve releases the animals that are capable of surviving in the wild after treating them, those that wouldnt survive they provide a home to.
