But then again, unless I build my own there is only a certin degree of being original that is possible. I think there is just something different about his sig. I think Dave let on that Fender's purchase of Jackson was an underlying reason in him leaving his endorsement with Jackson and switching to ESP (it's also worth pointing out that Dave attempted to purchase Jackson on 3 different occasions). And when he left his endorsement deal with ESP, he had every intention of going back to Jackson, but Jackson was outmaneuvered by Dean, who was informed by Dave that it would take them an offer he couldn't refuse for him to switch to Dean.

Actually mate, if youd done your homework you would have realised by now that in many interviews dave states that after he left esp he had full intentions of returning to jackson however they were then aquired by fender, he has stated that it has nothing to do with him leaving, just why he never returned, different people= different relationship, relationship is important even on our level, shit customer support= shit relationship

Dave is a true inspiration to me. However, those Mustaine signature pick ups sound horrible. They're too buzzy and I tried them on a DV8 through my own 5150 III and a 92 dual rectifier.
