I'm black, and I can tell you he didn't say "black people's lives", he said "a lot of people's lives". It just sounds like he said, "black", but you can hear what he really said when you listen closely.
(Just wanted to clarify, because it's harsh to call someone a racist, when they're innocent and don't really deserve it)
